“A Genuine Surprise Stop on Our Way Back From NYC
We were on our way home from NYC, planning to wash the car before calling it a day, when we drove past Pennsville Custard Stand. Right before it, we passed what can only be described as a crack den (a rundown motel with a few guys doing the crack dance), and honestly, we didn’t expect much more down the road.
Then suddenly, we see this beautiful little hole-in-the-wall shack that completely caught us off guard. Not only were the prices super reasonable, but the service was lightning fast — in and out like that.
It was clearly a regular local spot too. We saw a dad just casually enjoying his custard outside his truck, like this was his go-to ritual, while my wife and I enjoyed ours. It had this wholesome, small-town vibe that made the whole stop feel unexpectedly special.
If you’re ever passing through, don’t sleep on this place. Absolute gem.“

“Yummy and fun! This is my family's favorite ice cream in Wilmington. The classics are done right, plus you get some exciting and traditional flavors you don't find everywhere. I love that they hand packed pints for us. The pops are fresh and fruity, too.“

“Only got takeout, and didn't live in the area, but it really seems local family friendly, and the food was fantastic. Even more so that I could tell the mushroom pizza was handmade (no offense but the mushrooms didn't quite make it to the crust lol). But handmade is soooo worth it.“

“My husband likes their water ice and my daughter likes their gelato. I like some of the delicious flavors they offer, especially the tangerine, which they dont have often enough! Would go back again but sometimes, it can be a bit pricey for a family of 4.“

“Wanted to try a local spot near where I work and Andy's Pizza stepped up and didnt disappoint. I ordered 2 cheesesteaks fried onions and those cheesesteaks were amazing the girl that took my order hooked it up with fires as well that was an unexpected and amazing surprise. Definitely recommend Andy's Pizza and would order from there again and again.“

“Sophie was our counter person and she was nice and got us our four gelati very quickly. New flavors like mermaid and unicorn sprinkles were enjoyed by my family but I stuck with mango and cherry with custard twist. I was a little shocked at $6.25 for a small but then what hasn't gone up? No seating but also no trash can which was strange. I guess they want you to take your garbage with you!“
