“My wife and I had our wedding cake prepare by Kim and crew, and we were absolutely blown away.To give some more detail: I am a classically trained chef and this is the only bakery I have bought cake from since I discovered it three years ago. Their cakes are well flavored and always baked properly, and Kim puts taste over everything else. Everything is not only well prepared but the ratios of cake to frosting/filling is well thought out and pretty perfect.On top of all this the staff is friendly and has always come through for me, even when I've made difficult or last minute requests.“

“We have been customer of Pasteles Rojas since they opened near our home in Elsmere. Given their excellent choices we decided to use them for our wedding cake. “We come here often and I don’t think we’ve been to a better breakfast spot around Northern DE. Food is high quality, servings are huge and service has always been on point. If you have young children that love cars, I highly recommend visiting on a weekend when the garage is open. The gentleman that runs the garage is extremely nice and accommodating. “I took a chance and tried this restaurant on a random weekday. Man, it was a good decision. The food was great and the lady helping me was so kind in helping me choose the dishes to try.They had already packed away the food into the refrigerator when I stopped in 30 minutes before close time . The store employee took the time to take it out of the fridge and show me all the different dishes. I only knew pork adobo and asked the employee to recommend another dish. She recommended the beef caldereta.I ended up with the combo that cost $12.50, it included 2 dishes with rice. All the food looked and tasted delicious. There was a generous amount packed and the box was heavy.The employee asked how I found the restaurant and I told her I found it by googling Filipino restaurants nearby. There’s not a lot of options and it’s hard to tell what they sell without any website or google photos of the menu. She gave me a menu and I’ll definitely be back to try the other offerings!“
“Stopped in yesterday for pan de muerto, I have zero negative comments about it. The bread was perfectly delicious. I decided to get some for work, I asked if they could put em in the clear cake tray, and she made it clear it would be an extra $3. I said ok, it makes sense.. I also asked if they would put a sticker with the bakerys' name on it, I work with white people and wanted to make sure they knew where it came from. I paid for my order and walked away. I got home, checked my receipt, and realized I was charged $1 for that sticker. I would have never imagined one day I would pay to promote someone else's business. It is what it is, I guess. I'll take it as leaving tip?♀️“
