I love the chicken on stick and have never seen anyone make it like this place does. I love how they will usually give you some eggrolls when you have a big order as well. They have tables but in 14 years I've never seen a person eat inside most order and take it back home. Atmosphere is not the best but the food is good. Everything on the menu is good.“

“I went for chitlins but they was out, so I got some pepper steak( didn't care for it) ,ribs, Mac and cheese, greens( ribs sauce to sweet for me, had better Mac and cheese, greens had no flavor until I add hot sauce).. Need to say I'm going to stick to the chitlins???“
“King Garden is highly recommended for local chinese food in N. Wilmington. The kitchen and owners are very clean. The owner also listens and does her best accommodate for food allergies. Their vegetables and meats (especially the shrimp, chicken & pork) are always fresh. Only one time did we get some broccoli that was subpar, and when we brought it back to show them they quickly apologized and gladly provided a credit for our next takeout. I didn't need a special receipt or anything, the owner wife remembered us the next time we came in. Tina knows her regular customers! Parking is the only negative aspect to this great restaurant. Navigating in and out of that parking area with a Wawa on one side and a very popular Italian restaurant on the other side is often a challenge especially at peak hours or on weekends. King Garden has two designated spaces allotted to their restaurant and most times you can find one available. If you can, back in to make exiting much easier & safer.“

If you get there Chicken and Beef Teriyaki or Chicken and Shrimp Teriyaki, you will not be disappointed since they always give you enough food for two meals and the chicken has always been tender. I ordered the Wonton Soup, and a side order of rice. The portions were hefty, but the cost was extremely reasonable. The cashier served us hesitantly, but carried a smile and was welcoming. “One of the best hole in the wall takeout restaurants in Wilmington, DE. They are fast, friendly, and take all methods of payment. I usually call ahead from my order and it's ready whenever I get there. Almost anything you order takes 15 minutes. I know it's cliché, but it's so true! They have sweet tea and a variety of sodas. Check out the menu pics I added to this post. Also, their General Tso chicken, and honey chicken are great eats if you're indecisive. “I ate at the Orient Chinese Restaurant passing it several times on my trips through Pennsville. It is the type of restaurant by the front appearance that you would not give a second glance to but trust me you are missing a great meal if you do. The food and the service are excellent! I stopped in for a quick dinner on my way home and had a Beef and Broccoli combination platter with Hot & Sour Soup, the main dish with Pork Fried Rice and an Egg Roll. Everything was delicious and the food was so well spiced. The Beef and Broccoli was especially good in that they must have used a combination of soy and Hunan sauces for the dish. It just had that extra tang to it. The fried rice was wonderful and studded with pieces of roast pork. The Hot and Sour Soup had a nice pinch to it with peppers giving it an extra kick. The service was very nice, and the food came out quickly as the restaurant was not that busy when I ate there at evening.“
