“I always get their chicken wings, and shrimp fried rice with extra shrimp. I get this about once a week, so I figured I should leave a review because this is a restaurant that I throughly enjoy. I’ve tried plenty of Chinese restaurants and this one is the best in Delaware. The chicken is always so crispy and seasoned well, and the shrimp fried rice is always fresh. This is the only Chinese restaurant I’ve experienced that uses bean sprouts in their rice, which is a great added touch. You can tell their food is fresh, and they are not skimpy with hot sauce, duck sauce etc. The wings aren’t huge either (which is good). Honestly my favorite restaurant.“
“Seriously the best brown and best white sauces I've ever had! Fresh ingredients and the best place to go if you want that real and authentic Chinese food. I get steamed and fried tofu and they are very generous with the amount of tofu and veggies they give. Lovely service and lovely food! They do not offer dine in at this time but hopefully they will open the dining room“
“We love to pick up happy hour sushi from 2-4:30. The crunchy roll is our absolute favorite sushi roll. The incredible roll is pretty much a hairy Mexican, another staple for us. We also always get the gyoza-basically the fried dumpling version of a chicken nugget.“
“Solid Chinese food. We got takeout so idk what the atmosphere is like, but the food was tasty and ready quickly. Deducting a star because either the tofu with garlic sauce is exactly like the other tofu dish on the menu we ordered or they messed up, also were missing one of the spring rolls. Hit the spot while watching home alone Xmas eve.“
“As a person who lived in China for several years, I was so excited to find this pocket of authenticity in Newark! In addition to a refreshing feeling of a real Chinese restaurant, the menu is packed with delicious regional dishes from China. The staff is also incredibly kind. They are willing to answer questions for those who are unfamiliar with Chinese cuisine, and they even offer some Americanized Chinese dishes for those feeling a little nervous. Don’t be silly though, make sure to try the dumplings!“
“My favorite Chinese take out food! If you're looking for a cheap yet delicious meal, look no further! My personal favorite items include the hot and sour soup and the roast pork lo mein lunch special, which I have ordered multiple times! The only issue I've had is with consistency and wait times. Sometimes the food isn't as fresh and as well seasoned as other times, but the food has never tasted bad. My advice: order the lunch special & order via phone or their website ahead of time!Lastly, I think this place has the best hot and sour soup in the area, great balance of flavors and good portion of meat. Also, the lunch special contains generous portions!!“
“The food was very good, I rated the food a 3, ONLY because some of the items I did select were room temperature or blatantly cold. However, I did see workers refilling "popular" items frequently, therefore the items that I did have that were room temperature or cold were more than likely not most wanted by other patrons during my visit. The service and atmosphere were top tier. Bathrooms were also very clean!!“
“General tso's chicken was pretty good. Shrimp egg roll was pretty good. But unfortunately they don't sell crab rangoons they sell cheese crab pockets other than the cheese pocket service was pretty goodParking: Big shopping center plenty of parking spots“
“A Chinese food takeaway that has been operating in Capitol Trail Newark Delaware for over a decade. The taste of the food was so mediocre that it could even be described as shoddy. The reason for giving them a five star rating is that they solve many of the workers' daily meals and are affordable. The Chinese are hard-working, and even the epidemic has not stopped them from moving forward. We need to applaud their professionalism.???“
“VERY wide variety of Chinese dishes. Very well prepared with proper ingredients, very tasty. Unusually pleasant staff. This is now my "go to" place for Chinese pickup. Try the General Tso's chicken, Mu shu anything. They will modify spice to your taste. Joy Luck is next to the UPS store in Peoples Plaza.“
“The Guobao Pork and Di Sanxian are very good! Even though it’s a takeaway, the Guobao Pork is still very crispy when it arrives! Northeastern people love itSupplement: After dining in, I have to add something else. It’s so delicious that I was moved! I ordered eggplant with minced meat, it was just a side dish, and the chefs were very particular about their cooking! Under normal circumstances, eggplants cannot taste bad as long as they are deep-fried, but theirs coats the eggplants with a layer of starch and deep-fries them until they are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. There is a lot of minced meat, and they also add chopped shiitake mushrooms and chopped green peppers. taste. This Northeastern chef is too attentive! Moreover, the portions of the dishes are large, which is very in line with the style of Northeastern people. I hope the chef can maintain this level. I will recommend it to my friends as a tap water!“
“They screwed up my order again tonight. This is the second time in the past few months that I’ve picked up food from Mee Garden, and they have failed to get the order correct. Naturally, I don’t discover the problem until I am back home opening up the food and by then it’s too late.“
“We showed up on a Saturday in February 2024 around 2: 30. About half the tables were full with customers. We ordered the n Friday pot sticker sampler for two. We also ordered the scallion pancakes. The food came out fairly quickly, and there was enough food for the both of us. The staff was friendly to us. Bathrooms were clean. This place has a full bar.“
