Cool Springs Fish Bar & Restaurant

When in for a meal after being at work all day. It was one of those looonnnggg days, staff was great. Manager greeted me as soon as I walked in. Sat at the bar had a few apps and my entire mood changed. Food was amazing. Never been to this spot before but I’ll certainly be returning.

This was an amazing gem! The food was absolutely delicious! I had Swordfish, pretty much everyone at the table had some sort of seafood and we all raved of choices. A “Must Try”!

We had the pleasure of dining at Cool Springs to celebrate Liz's birthday, and it was an absolute treat! The steak and prime rib were cooked to perfection—juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The lobster was fresh and decadent, a true highlight of the meal. The staff made our birthday celebration feel extra special, treating us with care and attention throughout the evening. A special thank you to Mary, our favorite waitress, who made the experience even more memorable with her warm and attentive service. Each dish was beautifully presented, showing real attention to detail. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending Cool Springs to anyone who appreciates exceptional food and thoughtful service. A true culinary gem!

What an experience!! It’s rare that a restaurant meets all of the exceptional points, but Cool Springs Fish Bar and Restaurant certainly did. As soon as you walk into the restaurant, you are greeted with a smile and kindness, and your senses are pleasantly overwhelmed with unique ambience and just the right amount of a bustling atmosphere. Let’s talk about the food! We were absolutely astonished by the deep flavors, unique spice combinations, and perfect pairing of each of our courses. From drinks to appetizers to the main course - everything was delicious. This will be our new regular spot and we highly recommend it!

First time here and we will be back often! Really great service and nice atmosphere. Food was excellent. Menu had so much to offer — it was hard to chose! The only negative — and it’s a small thing — is that I wish they didn’t use single-use plastic containers for salad dressing nor the plastic ribbon on the lemon wedge.

Absolute best choice for dining! Best food and service - totally addicted to a few of their menu options. All around best dirty martinis anywhere with hand stuffed bleu cheese olives, nice wine selection. Exactly why we go at least one time a week!

This was my first time and I was surprised by it's small intimate setting. The servers were amazing friendly and they all clear plates. Which is something I loved. They work like a well oiled machine. I Def want to go back.

It’s one of the best restaurant I’ve been to in Delaware. Usually, have some great additions to the menu. Try to save room for dessert, their bread pudding is very good.

Restaurant opens at 5pm got there at 5:05. Was around 95 degrees outside. The Restaurant was very warm inside like they just turned the ac on at 4:45. Ordered stuffed flounder- $35.00. My cell phone was bigger than the flounder! Unreal! It was not worth 35 bucks. I Had stuffed flounder in many restaurants and this was the smallest portion. Server was very nice and dessert was delicious. My wife had salmon,It was a big portion and very good she said. I’ll be back for second time.

Totally underwhelmed. Party of four. I ordered ribs which were so overcooked they were literally like eating crispy jerky. Ate less than half of them. Each person tried one and agreed. Left four uneaten. Even if they weren't over done the seasoning rub was so thick it was falling off in chunks and was seriously black pepper based. Coleslaw recipe was so vinegar-y it was unpleasant. One party ordered the rockfish with cauliflower side dish. She said both were so bland she chose not eat them. Almost the entire plate was left untouched. One party ordered the stuffed flounder. He also did not finish it as he said it was bland and tasteless.
One party ordered the scallops and said they were very good..
The server was friendly.
Don't be in a hurry when you go in. We were two hours from start to finish.
Won't be back anytime soon.

Server was awesome.....so any great choices on the menu- the tuna was fantastic....nothing I could complain about at all!
