The brunch on the weekends is the best. My husband also loves their cream of crab soup.

Governors Cafe was very nice and had a B&B feel to it. Grounds were very nice and well kept garden area. Initially it seemed to lack diversity and did not seem welcoming but the staff erased that feeling immediately. I was with my husband on vacation and we enjoyed the food and our waitress was awesome! The atmosphere was comfortable but the group eating inside the same room were hitting the wine a little hard and being loud. Otherwise would have been a very pleasant brunch date.

The atmosphere was beautiful, the food was delicious, the waitstaff was friendly. However, the lady running the events, I assume the manager was rude, had no people skills and lacked customer service skills.

I have always enjoyed the food here. Service has been good but slow. I have been here three times in the last week; service is much better than before. I am excited that they will be renovating the kitchen then will open up with a new name. I live sitting outside; the building is lovely. I also firmly believe in supporting a local business!!

Location is nice, outside seating is pretty awesome. For you guys that still smoke they have outdoor seating where you can smoke. Very attentive wait staff. Was a little chilly the day we went and we asked for the outdoor heater to be turned on and they did it pretty quickly. Food was really good! All around a nice place to eat.
