Taqueria El Gallito (Food Truck)

I was told about this food truck at work in Wilmington. This food truck is located in Dover and since I live below the Canal I had to check it out. Food was great, fast service and people kept pulling up so I knew I made the right choice. We will definitely return.

I called to ask where the food truck was because I'm not from this idea. She answered and was able to share that it's inside the Hobby Lobby shopping center to the right. I was able to find the food truck so yay! I've ordered Haruache I believe and a fish taco and the Jamaican drink. The Jamaican drink is amazing. It's pricey for 4.00 but the drink was good! The food portion is sooo huge.. I don't know why I also ordered a taco. Well, atleast I have food for later :) The service is friendly.

The absolute BEST SPANISH FOOD around… delicious, with GREAT service, friendly, funny.. I wished they would open a restaurant LOL… I go here maybe 2-3x per week seriously! Like, just shut up and take my money 😂😂😂 please and thank you!!! Seriously, they are great great GREAT people and the love of their craft shines through their food and service.

The BEST, and possibly ONLY, authentic Mexican in Dover. Forget family restaurants and tapas bars, everything here is made and baked FRESH. The torta rolls are fresh and crispy. The masa is sweet and corny. Even though I don't know the family that runs this place, I love them with all my heart. Kind and welcoming service, and it's clear everything they make, is made with LOVE. Cannot recommend them highly enough!!

Food is outstanding and the young lady at the window was very sweet and even chase us down when we forgot our drinks. We ate our Birria Tacos in the car and was very impressed. Best Tacos in Dover hands down. We are hoping this family can one day can have an actual restaurant location.

Great lunch spot!

Ordered 2 birria tacos, 2 grilled chicken tacos and a horchata to wash it down. The horchata just tastes like carnation milk. Don’t taste or pinpoint any other ingredient. The birria taco is missing an intriguing savory factor that keeps you wanting to take another bite. The grilled chicken flavor was flat. Veggies over powered the chicken. Over all it was good for a first time visit but nothing that pushes me to come back.

Authentic Mexican style street tacos served fresh! We tried the chicken and pastor tacos.

My first time was today and I just want to say 10/10!!! I got the shrimp & birria tacos, They were soooooo divine ? I’m so happy and satisfied everything was fresh and delicious and they’ve definitely got a new customer? compliments to ALL the staff ???
