We like local places. The Countrie Eatery is a cut above places like Bob Evan’s and IHOP but it’s not epic. Our breakfast was generally well made. The eggs were cooked properly and the home fries were excellent. Unfortunately, my wife chose the blueberry muffin as a bread and it was rock hard on the bottom. On the positive side, there are options coffee and service were excellent. We saw a blueberry waffle on our way out that I would order next. It’s a good breakfast...
The wait to get in was rather long on a Saturday morning but that was kind of expected, once we were in it was great service, tasty home cooked breakfast that warmed us up for the dreadful weather that day. Atmosphere inside really felt like you're eating in somebody's house, we'll have to get a window table next time overlooking the lake.
The Countrie Eatery lives up to its moniker. It feels like a 30 Big Mamas came together to make you breakfast wrapped in a hug with a sprinkle of love. On Sunday’s the lines can be long, but the service was delightful and the food was pretty good.
