Went on Valentine’s Day with my children. Sat at 4:30, at 4:45 no one had come to see us or greet us at our table. Restaurant had 4 tables. We left.

Nikki our waitress was amazing. However the rest of our night sucked. The food was so beyond horrible it was amazing. Ordered burgers medium rare came out well done. Mozzarella sticks had a weird taste to them and I figured out why......spicy chicken sandwiches tasted like fish. Why.....because they use the same fryers for everything...and we had someone at the table with a fish allergy. The manager was clueless and not a manager. The rest of the staff lingered and we saw them eating in the kitchen. Last time I checked they were supposed to take break and sit down and eat like normal people.i can't even believe it. This was the most disappointing dinner I ever had with my family. The owner of this operation should be completely disappointed and should close the doors.i only get to see my family 2 times a year and we will NEVER EVER DO THIS AGAIN. CLOSE YOUR DOORS.

When I first learned about the Green Turtle and found out they had a gluten-free menu, I was excited and got the Chesapeake Burger. It is my favorite, but as much as it tastes delicious, we have had two occurrences where we ordered it gluten-free with the gluten-free bun and they gave me a regular bun.

It has frustrated me because I have celiac disease, and this has happened twice at the same location. With celiac disease, we cannot consume gluten, or we get sick in simple terms. The first time this happened I did not realize it wasn't the gluten-free bun, but today with a pickup order I did realize it was incorrect. Therefore, I only got a little bit of my burger and everything that touched the bun had to be removed.

Don't get me wrong when the food is correct, it is delicious but for anyone else who has celiac disease please be aware when your order comes out. The bun is thicker and lighter, if you get a dark bun that is skinnier than it is their regular bun.

Dietary restrictions: My dietary restriction is gluten-free because I have celiac disease.

Been a LONG time since I’d even give the Turtle a chance, things had gotten so bad there in 2018-2019. But so happy we did! The “triple play” option gave us a nice variety, while keeping everything reasonably priced. Our service was consistent without ever being over the top. Food was very good, and hot. It had not been left sitting under a heat lamp. Check out the “home run” option if those drinks are in your wheel house! Or you’re one who saves room for dessert! Will, for sure be putting this back on our list! Staff was clearly prepping for the dinner rush by cleaning and stocking needed items, but it never took away from service.

This was a first date location for my Wife and I more than 9 years ago. Since then we have returned time to time to remind us of simpler times (before kids, mortgage, when life was fun). Our recent visits have all but reminded us that those times are long gone. Food portions, once bountiful and tasteful, have now shrank to disappointing levels only matched by thier absent and careless wait staff. We waited almost an hour for our food. Then, still didn't get half of what we ordered! Soon all the wait staff disppeared to an area Hudini couldn't find. Just to wait another hour and a half for a bill that had all of our un-recieved food on it. I do apologize to everyone who works there since I had to walk into the kitchen area to find all the waiters and managers laughing and hanging out in the back. Just so they could process my card and look pissed when I didn't tip.

I'm glad that I can give at least one star for the ice cold water that was never refilled.

Thanks for the past memories.

So, I ordered a bowl of Maryland Crab soup last night. I go to eat it for lunch the next day, and the container is half full, literally!!! I'm sure it's not even a 1/4 cup. I'm very disappointed. The soup tastes great, however the amount I received is a different story.
