Best Jamaican food in the state! Super friendly staff. Very clean atmosphere!
Went with a few friends…many whom have not experienced much in the way of Caribbean foods got to taste curry goat ,oxtails and sweet plantains…portions were generous and tasteful
This photo is a double stack of oxtail with collard greens and string beans if you want other things, they have them. I also have some lemon pepper wings done the owner’s way which I think is better. This is a must try, especially the oxtail Cause a little bit but definitely worth it tropical delight a must stop if you’re in Dover or passing through Dover, the food is great has many options.

Tropical Delight Cafe offers Caribbean food that is amazing, with everything fresh and made to order. From the first time ordering fried flounder and Catfish, customers are hooked. The oxtail is hot, SO tender, and the gravy is good. Both the mac & cheese and candied yams are good and pair well with the oxtail. Vegan options are delicious. Other menu items include Turkey Wings, Curry Goat, Ox Tail, Shrimp Roti, Fried Plantains, Collard Greens, Soup, and Rice and Peas. Every meal is hot, prepared fresh, and the services are excellent. The staff are very nice, and the young lady at the counter is pleasant and professional. The restaurant is very accommodating; if you want something not on the menu, just ask. It is very nice inside and attached to a karaoke spot, with karaoke on Wednesdays. For large events, they host 100-200 people, with servers who set up, serve, and clean up. Customers recommend this place to all friends and family across the country.
