I used to live locally and I have moved away in the last several years but I always make it a point to stop in for one of the famous cheesesteaks and the even more infamous Apple pie shot!!! Absolutely love Val and some of the new staff are pretty cool too!
After a long day hanging out with a buddy of mine, popped in here solo to grab a drink and check out a cheesesteak that had some pretty good reviews online. I will say the bartender was very nice and the drinks were solid. The cheesesteak unfortunately was not. Perhaps it was good for this area, but for someone who has tried 20+ from spots in Philly and surrounding areas, it was nowhere near the conversation. My first time at this place was 5 stars! Unfortunately my second trip here made me never want to return. Went here with a group of 6. Our waitress got everyone’s orders wrong and refused to correct anything. Like Ms it’s bad enough you messed up my food, now you want to act upset ? We simply paid because Ms. waitress was undoubtedly on something. This place has great potential but that experience ruined it for me.
