My first time at this place was 5 stars! Unfortunately my second trip here made me never want to return. Went here with a group of 6. Our waitress got everyone’s orders wrong and refused to correct anything. Like Ms it’s bad enough you messed up my food, now you want to act upset ? We simply paid because Ms. waitress was undoubtedly on something. This place has great potential but that experience ruined it for me.

I used to live locally and I have moved away in the last several years but I always make it a point to stop in for one of the famous cheesesteaks and the even more infamous Apple pie shot!!! Absolutely love Val and some of the new staff are pretty cool too!

Bought a cheese steak sandwich a frew minutes ago and paid $8 opened it up at home and there was hardly nothing on my cheese steak sandwich unbelievable I would not recommend this place to buy a cheese steak sandwich and when I called them to tell them my situation the guy seem not to care said call back tomorrow talk to the owner beware do not go here for any sandwiches they suck big time I will go somewhere else and get my money's worth

After a long day hanging out with a buddy of mine, popped in here solo to grab a drink and check out a cheesesteak that had some pretty good reviews online. I will say the bartender was very nice and the drinks were solid. The cheesesteak unfortunately was not. Perhaps it was good for this area, but for someone who has tried 20+ from spots in Philly and surrounding areas, it was nowhere near the conversation. Meat was a bit dry, not enough cheese, and the bread was too soft so if there was more cheese, it would have ripped right through the bread.Loved the place, would like to go back and try other foods and hang out for karaoke again, but i'd pass on the cheesesteak next time around.

Three stars for the amazing food.. but not five cuz even tho they will only have literally two guests, it still takes them over thirty minutes to even acknowledge my or anyone else's existence.... They only really immediately acknowledge their regulars who they possibly know personally.

Diana is an excellent bartender. She makes a killer Margarita??!!! The food is delicious. Small and cozy. I highly recommend Valerie's Bar & Grill!
