The name of the place says it all. Unpretentious comfort food with a country/Delmarva soul. Generous portions of well prepared dishes at a reasonable cost. Authentic down to the (seasonal) muskrat dishes.
Wow! Be prepared to leave with a full stomach and the best hospitality. The owner is beyond welcoming and makes the restaurant atmosphere feel as if you were at home. No matter what you order, you will not be disappointed. Be sure to make room for their amazing desserts... especially the banana walnut cake ;)

This was a last minute stop on our way home from travel and I’m glad we did! The food was delicious, the resturant was clean, and the servers were very friendly! The kids loved the cheeseburgers, and I enjoyed the fried oyster platter. We really loved the southern sides, such as llama beans with dumplings and corn fritters.
