“Our server was Madison and she was phenomenal!! It started raining and she very quickly took our order and got us our food in to go boxes. The playground was also very cool and my kids loved playing on it (even if it was for a short amount of time). The food was amazing 10/10 and Madison was a 10/10 too. Slay queen! “What a great show on NYE! Fuzz Box Piranha nailed it!! The female bar tender was amazing and made me a mocktail based off of one of the available cocktails. Being alcohol free has its drawbacks in taste when going to bars with friends. Thank you for a great evening.“

“Food prices are little high, not uncommon for boardwalk fare. They have a new brunch special on Sundays with $4 mimosas that simply can't be beat. The pork sliders and fries are great to split between two. The atmosphere is great - you can sit outside on high top chairs and watch the boardwalk and beach. We've been here twice now and it's been great both times.“

“This place is a hidden gem, a little hard to find, but once we were here we enjoyed sitting outside on the sandbar, live music, and a beautiful view of the bay. The service and food was amazing. We tried the shrimp quesadilla, fish tacos, crab cake tacos, crab dip fries, and a noodle bowl with shrimp. Everything was so delicious!!! Ignore old reviews, that was not our experience at all! Give this place a try!“

“Wow! What a great spot…definitely family friendly. We are locals and remember this as the old Alamo motel. Good use of a many decades old spot. Beats fighting OC traffic as we live in Berlin and almost never go that 6 miles to the beach during summer. We were there today for a special event, but we definitely will be back.“

“This is always a must stop for us in OC! This time did not disappoint- great as always! Great service, beautiful outdoor seating, and the food is fantastic. I always get the honey do grilled chicken sandwich and pasta salad - absolutely delicious! Hubby got the crusty crab sandwich- crispy chicken with crab dip on top. Fries are delicious too. My fav drink is the drunken pirate. Go and enjoy ! Very family friendly with play structures and sand for the kids. Their kids chicken nuggets are so good that I like them too. 😊😂“

“Great experience, good and views we sat right on the water prettymuch. We did need to wait for about 40 minutes for a table because we had a group of 9 but there was a spot to play corn hole and of course a bar while we waited. Food was super expensive for where we were neither.“

“Tonight, 9/6/2024, the service was horrible. It was the all you can eat shrimp night so it is understandable that they might be overwhelmed, but if you advertise this you need to be prepared to provide the service. We have had dinner at this pub on various nights so this is not our first visit. The service was always spectacular and I have defended Poseidons reputation on Facebook numerous times. On the plus side, the food as in previous visits was excellent. Although the service was less than stellar, I still strongly recommend this restaurant and I will continue to eat at this establishment.“

“I was coming off the beach and wasn’t feeling well a young lady on vacation with her family stopped to help me. We got to the steps of Lennys and asked them to get me some water. The sweetest waitress helped me to the bathroom and offered to wait for me. Your guest waited at the foot of the steps and watched my belongings. I didn’t catch either of their names and other staff could have been involved I was pretty dizzy and not feeling well at all. I just want you to know how awesome your staff is and will always be thankful. I live in NC and visit my mother here every summer and will continue to visit Lennys yearly. This happened today Aug 23, 2022 3-4 pm. Thank you again to the sweetest, kindest waitress!“

“First off we had reservations for Thanksgiving so I can understand this was a more busier time perhaps than normal. Reservation was for 2 at 2 pm but could not be seated until 2:30. No tables were available or needed to be cleaned. Again, had a reservation. Check in girl had her hands full in also having to seat people and only saw one waitress one time but they handled in stride. Did sit at the bar which was nice to wait and had good drinks. Had eaten here years ago for Thanksgiving and the food was terrific. This time, the mashed potatoes tasted well but a bit on the runnier side. I prefer sweet potatoes not chunked but creamy and mashed. Taste was good however. Stuffing was a bit “gummy” and undercooked but good flavor. Felt the ham was not from the bone but a canned version as it was ok. The gentlemen cutting the turkey disappeared and my husband had to wait 20 minutes for him to return only to find the serving was 3 small slices of white meat with no dark meat to be found. Had hoped for butter nut squash soup from years past but did have cream of crab with corn chowder. Good flavor. Finally, the dessert was mediocre. The pumpkin and apple pie were not homemade but appeared store bought. I wasn't a fan. Overall experience was alright but probably try another restaurant if in the area for Thanksgiving.“
