We have been going to OC every July for 7+ days for decades & happened upon The Lobster Shanty last year. We know most of the great dining spots in OC but we were so happy to have found this place!! We were down there for bike week we were looking for some place to eat and came across this place thought we would give it a try food was good prices were very high for what we got I thought. On the list of foods below they didn't have the clams that I have and the chowder soup I had
We had a very nice experience there. Our server Chase was attentive without being annoying, very friendly and accommodating. Loved the food. My wife had the lobster bisque to start and followed it up with lobster imperial.
I'm not a big fan of seafood, so I had the pulled pork sandwich.
The only drawback I can say,and I guess it's something they can't control, is it was LOUD.
