Food was actually decent. Got brisket platter. Only down fall could only eat top of bun due to bottom being a rock.

I have not been to Fat Daddy's BUT have had their food at Georgetown Speedway. The brisket was excellent. Large portion. I would always get a double portion of baked beans.I used to attend a church that put on a ham and bean supper. We made the beans from scratch. Hence I am an authority on beans. Sadly last year Fat Daddy's was not at Georgetown Speedway. The replacement was no where close at good as Far Daddy's. Figure next time I attend a race there (1 week from now) I will stop by Fat Daddy's.Jeff

Walked in all servers were on their cell phones sitting at the counter. Ordered a beef brisket sandwich, and beef was chopped any which way with no culinary experience. Also, the prices on my check were higher than the ones on the menu. No one mentioned that. One and done.

Really good ribs, tasty sides, and great service. Hopefully I'll be back to sample some more meats but the ribs were recommended and they did not disappoint. I don't see a sampler-type platter for one person but if there was I missed it and would have taken them up on it.

Owners are always present and make sure that you're satisfied with everything fresh cut french fries homemade baked beans, homemade potato salad, barbecue chicken, and the best brisket and ribs ever sweet tea and top it off with Hershey's ice cream. It's a must stop. It's a destination I go out of my way to get there always a wonderful experience.

Upon revisiting this establishment, I was disappointed with the food. Having spent a significant amount of time in the Army down south and having tried numerous BBQ food trucks and restaurants over the past two decades, I found the brisket to be dry, lacking the succulent tenderness that I had come to expect from authentic southern barbeque. The pulled pork, too, left much to be desired, lacking in flavor and moisture. It was as if the meat had been cooked without any attention to the art of slow smoking, resulting in a lackluster taste. To make matters worse, the sauces provided did not complement the meats well. They were either too sweet or too tangy, failing to strike the perfect balance that is crucial in enhancing the flavors of barbequed meats. The absence of a rich, smoky flavor was also noticeable, leaving me longing for the distinct taste that only comes from hours of slow cooking over wood. Adding to my disappointment was the lack of cars in the parking lot. Usually, when I pass by on my way to Georgetown, the lot is either closed or only has a few cars parked. This raised concerns about the popularity and quality of the establishment. A thriving BBQ joint is typically bustling with customers, with the aroma of smoked meats wafting through the air, enticing passersby to stop and indulge. Unfortunately, this place failed to create that enticing atmosphere. It is worth noting that the staff members who assisted me with my order were delightful and displayed excellent manners. However, it is worth noting that despite my disappointment, this establishment has managed to maintain a loyal customer base over the years. Perhaps my experience was an anomaly, and others have had better luck with their meals. It is possible that the lackluster food I encountered was simply a result of an off day in the kitchen. Nevertheless, based on my personal experience and high expectations for authentic southern barbeque, I can not recommend this place as a top choice for those seeking a true taste of the South.

I have put off writing this review for a while now, hoping the food would get better and it hasn't. The service was mid at best, but I did like the vibe of the place. I wish the food tasted as good as it smelled. The brisket sandwich I ordered was dry, and the roll was hard as a brick; almost like it was microwaved. The half chicken was the same way but seasoned better. The half rack of ribs was spicy and peppery and had a good flavor, but nowhere near as tender as they should have been. I was very disappointed all the way around. The best food I got to taste from there was for a work catering three years ago. I've been stopping in periodically, hoping to recapture the same great food. The bbq has fallen short every time since. I really wanted to like this place because it's hard to find great BBQ in this area. Oh well, the search continues...
