Love this place always clean and pretty good service. Filadelphia taco with a little bit a hot sauce is my go to, it’s SO good.

Not a bad option for Mexican. Tacos are pretty good in my opinion. Service was a bit behind but not terrible. Overall good experience.

Ordered delivery through DoorDash. Restaurant was aware that DoorDasher stole the food. They did not contact me or DoorDash to let us know the food was taken. Doordash a sent multiple other drivers they did not tell the other drivers. Waited 1:15 minutes. When I called they told me it was taken with out being closed out. Terrible customer service I will not be going back.

Clicked rice under additions and paid extra because I thought they would add a scoop of rice to the beans that was supposed to come with my order. Instead I just got rice and no beans.

Most places rice and beans is a standard side for orders. That options would be a suggested option for the menu.

I actually rate the La Tolteca in Barley Mill a bit higher than its cousin along Concord Pike. Why? I think the atmosphere is a bit better than the other location. Sure there it isn't quite the same atmosphere as a traditional Mexican restaurant but I like the brighter atmosphere and more spacious dining area. I guess it's something that makes this location stand out compared to many of the others around the area so that stands out.
The service was about the same as the other location along Concord pike. The server made sure I was taken care of and answered any questions I had on the menu items. Overall I had a good experience with the service here.
Food I rated a little higher and that was likely due to the entree I choice this time, picking a burrito smothered in mole. While I don't remember the burrito itself other than the meat was moist and tender and well seasoned, the mole is what really stands out to me. It added a volume of flavor and a little bit of heat to the dish and I savored it. Probably a dish I would order back at the other location to see if it's just as good. And I would definitely want to explore more of the menu on a future visit.
As with the other location, La Tolteca is a good Mexican restaurant in the Wilmington area to visit and one I will likely come back to in the future.

The food was awesome. The Rib eye fajitas are great. The steak was a good cut not rubbery or overcooked. It was perfect. They do not automatically come with sour cream or shredded cheese both you will have to ask for.

I always come here with my significant other, we always have a great time. The food is always delicious and our bartender Louie is the best! He goes above and beyond his job title.

Really Friendly staff with good food. Not overly loud so we usually come after a long day at work because it relaxing. So far everything we've had has been very tasty. The Lettuce Wrap tacos are my favorite!
Definitely worth giving it a try - it won't disappoint.

Friendly, efficient and attentive staff. Food was absolutely excellent. We had the original tacos ? with chicken and rice.
Also the Filadelfia taco with steak.
