Employees are very sweet. I usually place an order to go and it is immediately done! I once dropped a note and an employee followed me out to return it to me. Food is healthier than other places. Love the muffins. My go to is the Chihuahua which has chicken. The owners are great friends with my brother. Love the magnets and the Catholic references. Regardless of your background, this place is very welcoming and friendly.
We stopped here for lunch while visiting the nearby Hagley Museum. It is apparently one of several in the Wilmington area. It has a cute name and the sandwiches are named after dog breeds (no cats). There is ample seating inside and out; most of the patio is in full sun. I had the grilled cheese sandwich and tomato bisque; my wife had the "Cocker Spaniel" vegetarian sandwich. The food came out very quickly and tasted as we expected.

A delightful stop! On our way up to New York, stopped in to the Nature and Science Museum and found Purebread. Food was wonderful and constructed so well it amazingly did not fall apart, nothing falling out of it with most sandwhiches. The theme was great. It was until we sat down to take in all the art, paid closer attention to the sandwhich names to appreciate the shop name of PureBread :)
