Awsome place, the people who fix the chicken and serve are awesome as well as the brave fire fighters that put their lives on the line without thinking twice.
Weekends from end of April until about Labor Day, they sell some of the best BBQ chicken you can find anywhere as a fundraiser. I believe the hours are 8 am until they are sold out - usually 1 or 2 pm. The fire department itself, like nearly all fire departments in Delaware, is a volunteer organization. Our fine people serve the community, protecting the town and outlying areas of Greenwood Delaware.
Attention: Not open on Fridays this year.
if your ever in near Greenwood on a weekend and have never tried the chicken from the fire house bbq. don't second guess just stop and get some. it's worth it.
