I stopped here on the way to the beach for lunch. Got takeout otherwise I would have returned the food as the burger was pretty much inedible. The A1 sauce tasted a bit sour, not sure if that was the issue, but I couldn't finish it. It's been a while since that happened to me as I'm not too picky and I don't know how you mess up a burger that badly. At least the tater tots were mostly edible so I had something to eat.

The BEST burger, onion rings, and shake we’ve had in a LONG time. The nicest employees. Fast service. Clean restaurant. The food is made to order and is fresh fresh fresh. So good. Food and shake are both a 10/10!

I was sitting at home and decided I wanted chicken tenders and hubby Said where do you wanna go .. and I looked online and seen wayback burgers in greenwood and looked at their menu and everything looked amazing .. so we decided to try it .. I thought they closed at 9 because online it said so but it actually closed at 8 and it was quarter of .. I asked if we still had time to order and he said of course what would you like .. I got chicken tenders and their fried cheese curds .. and my hubby shared with me and got a Chocolate Shake .. it was all very good .. And I plan to go back soon and try out other things .. everything looks so good ! If you haven't tried them yet I definitely recommend that you do !

From what I have seen and heard this place is awesome. The prices really aren't bad, they have a place in Dover on 113 by the old blue hen mall. You never know till you try the restaurant , the one in greenwood is in a good location at the red light on the left on south DuPont hwy you will always find cridicts ,like anywhere. Don't let that stop you go experience it yourself.
Both manager and employees really like to take care of their customers and give the best service they can give. Delicious!

Stopped at this Wayback Burger location on my way back from the beach and I can’t believe how amazing the food was. Shoutout to Josh and Bob! The customer service is 10 stars and the location is super clean and tidy. I hope I have the opportunity to go back soon!

I recently visited Way Back, traveling north from ocean city and I have to say, it was an incredible experience! The smash burgers were cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful with just the right amount of crispy edges. The fries were golden and crispy, making for a perfect side.
What truly blew me away was the Cinnamon Toast Crunch shake—absolutely delicious and a nostalgic treat that hit all the right notes.
The atmosphere was clean and inviting, with a friendly and efficient staff that made the visit even more enjoyable. Plus, the prices were very reasonable, making it an affordable spot for everyone.
Way Back has definitely earned its spot as my go-to place for burgers. Highly recommended!
