I preordered and paid for a half bushel of males. Picked them up on Sunday there were a few males on the top of the box the rest were small females. Very disappointing. Will never order crabs from them again.

My mother called and placed an order for a Mother’s Day event $239.00 down the drain a bushel of crabs didn’t receive the oysters in the place of that they did gave me shrimp and corn which I dint not want but will never do business again.

Drove a hour to get them. Ordered large males, were very small.. but figured that’s what you get for the time of year. Very clean restaurant and seafood sale / prep area. Young man that assisted me was very professional and so polite. We need more young people like him!

I bought two bags of the clams and cooked them myself which I have always done from any seafood place. Theirs are filled with nothing but sand and the manager Cane knows they are filled with sand but doesn’t care and will continue to sell them.He couldn’t refund me without the clams how can I bring back clams that are cooked

Just moved to the area stopped in got a dozen of extra large crabs to crab cake platers everything was outstanding crabs fresh and full and for 10 dollars more you get 1lb of shrimp and 4 ears of corn very pleased with the quality and price I will be ordering again thank you

I’ve ordered from here multiple times but today was my very last time. I ordered honey old bay wings and got overly sauced bbq wings. My seafood boil also had no seasoning and some of the weirdest stuff on the potatoes. Highly disappointed I spent $50 on crappy food.

It can be tough getting good steamed crabs out of season. Called Crab Shanty this morning. They told me they had heavy crabs for a good price. They weren’t kidding. Picked up a bushel of Ex Large medium seasoning. They were done on time, seasoned well and as big as many Jumbo I’ve seen. I’m not sure why this place isn’t rated higher than a 4.2 but I can definitely say they are the best within an hour of Seaford. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I’d recommend them to anyone. Crabs were heavy and full. Prices were great…

I wouldn’t want to waste my time and money at a place that discriminates against people of color and people with disabilities. My money spends just as well as anyone else’s and for them to “not serve me” because of being associated with someone with those issues.

Definitely won’t be back for the shrimp until the season ends. We tried choking them down but couldn’t get over the watery and flavorless taste of the 1lb large shrimp we got. No amount of salt nor butter could fix the flavor. The shrimp have always been great but lately the quality of the food has been lacking.

My husband often makes crab dip to take to family gatherings, and this time I thought I’d try getting the crab meat from Shanty Seafood instead of a grocery store. Not only was the Smith Island lump/jumbo lump mix less expensive than the grocery store version, it was the star ingredient of the best crab dip I’ve ever had in my life! It was gone before the burgers even came off the grill and everyone was raving about how delicious it turned out to be. I knew that the difference was the high quality crab meat we got from Shanty Seafood. Thanks for making our dish the talk of the BBQ!
