Awesome little tavern! The food was excellent, the staff was pleasant and very welcoming, and the service was on point. I've tried the Crab bisque, Crab cakes( lump meat with very little filler), fried flounder, pasta salad, and potato salad...nothing disappointed, everything was fresh and prepared nicely. I will definitely be returning soon. Overall, great little tavern with fresh seafood prepared perfectly.
I’ve visited this tavern twice and would definitely recommend it to those who enjoy hard shelled crabs and seafood. It isn’t a large tavern, so there can be a wait to be seated. Once you’re seated, you will enjoy the view of the water. You have to pay in cash since they don’t accept credit cards. Friends who live in the area took us to celebrate my wife's birthday. Fried clams and hush puppies were perfect starters before our 2 dozen number 1's. Crabs came right out of the steamer! Seasoning was great and crabs were all heavy with meat. Best I've had for awhile! And if that wasn't enough, staff was extremely friendly and service prompt. Beyond that, atmosphere was perfect place to relax, enjoy some great food, and spend time with friends.
