This is the fourth or fifth time I have been to Grain on the Rocks. This restaurant is located in the same building as Lewes-Cape May ferry terminal. This is the first time I have been here for a meal other than breakfast. The restaurant is clean and pleasant. We dined inside as it is winter. I have dined outside on the deck in warm weather and have found that to be an incredible atmosphere.

One member of my party ordered a soup that he said was not hot. The soup was taken back and replaced with a hot serving and the manager profusely apologized for the cold soup. I ordered a beef bbq sandwich that had onions and a cheese sauce. It was as delicious. I had a choice of side and chose sweet potato fries. The fries were crispy and hot. Another member of the party ordered a brat. He said the brat was dry, but that is more indicative of how brats are erred in this area.

I read on another review that one person would mark down on the number of choices on the menu. I would rather see fewer choices that are done well than a bunch of mediocre menu items. There are plenty of varied menu options for lunch.

At at the bar closest to the water I had the lobster roll… it was good well made. It was a little small for the price but wasn’t disappointed. I had a couple draft beers that were nice and cold and bar tenders were friendly I would recommend this restaurant

The food was decent and good service. They were nice enough to let us bring our dog in.

The waitress Natalie was the rudest person I have ever come in contact with while dinning out. Terrible customer service, and an even worse attitude. I have been to many of their establishments and will never go back. There are many other restaurants in the area that treat their patrons with basic human kindness.

Very gruff hostess. Told us no seats outside when there were clearly open tables. Flys every where, open doors and windows. If I was seated outside it would be different. One of our party received the wrong entree. Quantity of food vs prices are ridiculous. Waitress was great to deal with.

Had a really nice time here. Tried food I hadn't had there before and it was delicious. Waitress was friendly and checked back with us often. We'll be back!

Don’t typically don’t do reviews but in this case I had to. Went here to watch some football and have appetizers. Got boneless wings for $1 a piece and crab nachos. Wings could be described as fried breading. Was told the crab on nachos would be cold, but cheese would be warm. Everything was wet and cold. Nachos were all mush and weren’t appealing at all. Barely touched the nachos and when sent back the manger still made me pay 75% of the total cost. Would never recommend this place. Please save your money and go somewhere else.

We went for drinks and an appetizer and we had the best time. The drinks were delicious, the cheesesteak egg rolls are a must and the atmosphere was like a taste of the Carribean. The star of the visit though was our bartender Steven (not sure of spelling). So personable and fun and pointed out the dolphins that were swimming right there! We will be back every time we visit Lewes.
