Went tonight for the first time and probably won’t be back. While the space is beautiful and the cocktails were great, the service and food were very poor. It took 40 mins from the time we walked in before we received food. Then the brisket tasted like the pot roast I’d eat in the high school cafeteria where I worked for 15 years. The shrimp pasta was also horrendous. I could have got better pasta at Olive Garden. I was really excited to try this place and normally give places a 3 strike rule but I just can’t see myself giving them another chance unless they hire a new chef and someone to train FOH staff on service.

We walked up to the hostess in casual wear and wanted to sit at the bar for happy hour. I had on a dress and he had on shorts and tshirt. The hostess looked us up and down and said we are all full. There were two people sitting at the bar and the rest of the place was empty. Mind you……we are a physician and a nurse at Beebe Hospital and the hostess looked us up and down as if we were not capable of paying. We both were in shock. Needless to say we will never go there again and we tell as many people as possible our story and the utter disrespect that was shown to us.

Our 1st time dining here and it special! The service, food and experience was1st rate! Can't wait for a celebration there with family and friends when we are permanent members of the Lewes community.

My daughter took me out for dinner to celebrate my 62nd birthday here at Harbor at Canal Square. We went all out, soup to nuts so to speak, and it was a wonderful dining experience all around. Our waiter who Identified himself as Tom or Tommy was easily one of the best, intuitive and attentive servers I have ever had, and that's saying a lot. The Calimari was as good as we'd ever had, crispy and not too chewey, with just the right seasoning. The mussels were served piping hot with a delicious sweet curry style sauce that made me clean the plate with a spoon and a fresh whole Branzino fish which Tom recommended and explained that it was a Meditarainian sea bass. ? My daughter had the duck breast, whuch was so good she insisted that I tate it, and for dessert we shared the Cherry Tart served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream from Hopkins, a local dairy farm. Tom explained that the desserts were all made in house by one of the owners. We both had tasty mocktails, and I finished up with a glass of tawny port. Although the place was busy, we never felt rushed and the whole vibe was reminiscent of a day's gone by fine dining experience, with a water view, and a more relaxed feeling. I'm not going to say that this was the best dinner I've ever had, but I'd be hard pressed to recall a much better one. When you're anywhere near the Delaware beaches, this place is a must try. ?Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp is available.

I think going for happy hour would be fine but I'm not sure why I came back again for dinner. Rockfish special was overcooked both orders out of 4 in our party. Dessert was amazing rest just okay including soup. I want so badly to line this place more! Our server was great.

I really enjoyed the crab dip but my wide thought it had too much cheese. The service was just right - not to pushy but available in a timely manner. The dinner dishes were well done with the exception my wife thought the green beans needed to be cooked longer

From the minute we walked in till the minute we left the service was great. Had a wonderful view of Lewes Canal and the food was wonderful. We shared duck pate and each had a seafood dish the was prepared excellently. Then to top it off homemade deserts. Would highly recommend the restaurant. Hope to return soon.

I work in the hospitality industry and I drove 90 minutes for a peaceful and enjoyable brunch. From the lady who answered my phone call, the hostess and the bartender (Kearny), it was the PERFECT afternoon of food, drink and staring at the water. Not only wasn’t I disappointed, I was incredibly impressed. I cannot wait to go back and bring others!

Perhaps I had heard so many fantastic reviews from neighbors that my expectations were too high. Lovely facility, very good service. The food itself was not over the top and 5 of the 6 of us agreed that generally the meals were missing something. The fish and chips were a great hit. It was a pricey but lovely evening.

We reserved on line and asked for a spot to be reserved at the outside bar. The staff called us and asked us why. We explained it had special meaning for us and they said if it was during the summer season they could not reserve a bar seat. Since it was off season, they would and they made our night very special!!

I've eaten at the restaurant many of times besides the beautiful view the food is awesome and the services is great. If you're looking for romantic restaurant, the sunset breathtaking.

Celebrated Valentine's Day a little early. Beautiful restaurant with incredible views and fantastic service. Started with ceviche which was good but not great. I had the steak which was excellent and my girlfriend had the scallops which I thought were also excellent. We finished with sharing a dessert of Smith Island cake. Overall it is a good restaurant for a special occasion but pricey for what you get. Dinner for two with tip came to $200. That included two drinks, one appetizer, two main courses, and one dessert.
