Jean and I had dinner at Heirloom last night. It was fantastic! The Brussel sprout salad was so unique and packed with flavor. The teres major steak was perfectly prepared! It was so good! Service at the bar was the best! We are so fortunate to have a restaurant like Heirloom downtown in Lewes as Meghan Lee and her staff put their heart and soul into every dish and drink! We can't wait for our next visit! 👍👍

Wonderful spot for an elegant but approachable dinner with amazing seasonal produce. Would eat there again without hesitation.

Another remarkable experience. We brought friends last night and everything was amazing...from the greeting, drinks and fabulous food that never disappoints. Thank you to all the Heirloom staff for treating us like family!

Our food was wonderful and the bartender made delicious drinks. We had a perfect date night and will recommend this restaurant to everyone!

Amazing new fall menu. We started with the chicken & mushroom toast. We had the steak entree and a squid ink bow tie mushroom pasta entree. We shared both dishes which really complemented each other. Both entrees and the starter were fantastic.

We ate at Heirloom on Saturday, October 18 and were very disappointed with our experience. First, the server was perfunctory at best - he clearly had too many tables. He barely greeted us, was rushed, gave us no attention whatsoever, did not explain the menu ... really poor service overall. Second, the food. I ordered the scallops with risotto. The risotto was lukewarm, bland, and overcooked. The scallops were average. My husband ordered the steak, which was fine. Third, the ambience. While the restaurant interior was charming - an old house renovated as a restaurant, there were no tablecloths and nothing at all special about the experience. The silverware was something you'd buy from target. the plates did not match. Nothing special whatsoever. Overall, the meal was average, the service was average, and the restaurant tacked on a $4.50 credit card fee to the bill before we even said how we were going to pay. For entrees that cost $40+, I would have expected MUCH better service and quality of food. I will not recommend this restaurant, nor will I ever eat here again. I do not recommend it. I tipped 15% on the final bill BEFORE the credit card fee charge, and that was generous.

It was a special occasion and they did not disappoint. Service was excellent and the food was outstanding. Fresh vegetables and local food.

Food was excellent! However 3% charge to use a card, it's tacked on your bill before they know how you are paying . We paid half cash and half on our card, they still charged us 3% of the entire bill not just the half on the card.

Great service: good tips, attentive, friendly. Food was insanely good. I would have eaten anything off the menu (especially after having what I had: chicken/mushroom toast and a pasta dish with mushrooms...sorry: I'm butchering the names of the plates). Food was super fresh, a lot of great taste, herbs, spices and garnishes. A lot of thought and work went into the menu and the service. It was worth every penny.

Heirloom was amazing and we had a wonderful experience. It was the best food we had on our trip - and we had some great food! Freshness and quality were outstanding. Sourdough bread and honey, chamomile butter divine. I had the New England Halibut, which was cooked to perfection. My husband had the Heirloom Veggie Bowl, amazing farm to table. We shared the Kennett Square mushroom mix highly recommend. Our server, Angel, was wonderful. Parking is on the side streets by the restaurant. We didn’t have any trouble finding parking off season. The town of Lewes, DE is adorable.

Always a great experience at Heirloom. Great food and service. Presentation is also great. Colorful presentation reflects fresh ingredients. As a local the offseason is great without the crowds

We attended a pre-wedding dinner as part of a large group and shared a room with a larger group. The accommodations worked out well, eventually, but as we were seated and the other group were just arriving - it was a bit loud for the hearing challenged.

The staff were excellent, the food was delicious and our evening was very enjoyable and, despite the the pre-dinner acoustics, entirely memorable.

I am a regular patron. I will continue to be one because the food, atmosphere and service are of the highest level. The best on all three counts at the beaches. By a long shot. I dined at the bar for the first time last night and I have to say that this was my favorite experience so far. The bartender (bad with names so apologies for not calling her out) was absolutely lovely, provided great suggestions and boy does she make a mean cosmo! We started off with an ala carte cheese and charcuterie plate (meats cured in house and cheeses were from localish farms) that was served with a variety of accouterments. Amazing. I had the grilled teres major steak and my guest had the pan seared New England scallops. We also got a table share of Kennet Square mushrooms. My steak was cooked to perfection (medium) and the potatoes and dab of bbq sauce complemented the steak perfectly. The scallops (according to my friend) were “heavenly”. I had leftovers- made steak and eggs (cooking some of the mushrooms into the eggs) for breakfast the following morning. We topped things off with a very satisfying espresso martini. The owner, Meghan, checked in on us a few times. She and her amazing staff and chefs have created something exemplary and well worth visiting and making great memories.
