They gave our table away. Really dissatisfied with the hostesses. What do you want me to say about it, I will not go here again.

Had a wonderful dinner here last night. The restaurant was packed but the service was great and the food delicious! Two of us had the scallops which were amazing and my husband had the lamb shank which he said rivaled ones he'd had in Ireland. The atmosphere was very festive and added to the holiday season. The wines were good but sadly no room for dessert.... We will return!

We been going there for a long time and we don’t appreciate the manager who is always at the entrance very unprofessional looks angry most of the times and we spent a lot of money to tolerate the poor

We were in town for a few days and had our first meal at Kindle last night. The atmosphere is romantic and inviting, our table was lovely beside the window. We had the German Pilsner (which was ice cold) and a glass of Verdicchio, which was wonderful. We ordered the filet mignon and the pork chop entrees, all good so far...... Unfortunately it good stuff stopped there. My Husband said the pork chop was barely passable - chewy and too pink in the middle. His side was cold and weirdly spiced. My filet mignon was the princess cut, which was tasteless, overcooked and also chewy..... Then we come to the sauce the potatoes were served in! It was brown, thick and sticky, with wilted arugula sort of thrown on top of it. The flavor was indecipherable and bland. The potatoes were certainly not golden as described in the menu, they were brown all the way through, shriveled and not appetizing at all - were they microwaved? Yuk! If Ian Crandall the alleged chef/owner was there last night he should be ashamed of presenting this low level of food for human consumption! And, if he was absent then he should consider coming into work more often to watch over the food his staff is cooking/presenting/serving. We are from the city so yes, I can hear everyone reading this now saying ok, there you go, typical of out-of-towners, I bet they are from NYC!..... But hey listen, we have no problem paying city prices for good food, but when we are presented with overpriced sub par food, from a small parochial restaurant in the middle of nowhere, we were highly disappointed and a little miffed. We work hard for our money too. The experience was a 4/10 and that is being generous because of the atmosphere, the cold beer and the wonderful wine and great waiter. A MEH food experience, we definitely will NOT be back. This restaurant did not Kindle our interest nor our appetite.

I would say decent for this spot. Could be better service wise and the food was good but not crazy good. A great venue that needs some work. Definitely worth a try ! I may have caught them on an off day!
