This is a classic, family owned, breakfast dinner. They serve the classics done right! Their food can take a bit to come out. However, good food is worth the wait! Also, the value is insane. Our kids love their pancakes and scrapple! Eggs are always fresh and cooked to perfection. Breakfast at the Lemon Tree will always be a family beach vacation tradition!
Some of the issues related to this place, still exist today. First off the food was very good, with the exception of the home fries. Cold, and very dry! The waitress was very friendly, and her service was excellent! Everything else was very good. I had eggs and ham, my wife had eggs with scrapple and toast. Again the home fries were nothing to write home about. The one thing I do want to mention is the drop ceiling tiles, which there were comments about, over six years ago, still...
We went to The Lemon Tree for breakfast today. It was our first visit and what a hidden gem. It's a totally locals place so keep that in mind. No fancy fufu vacation spot. The food was amazing and the staff was extremely friendly. Not to mention the pancakes were the size of your head. If you are looking for great food and great service, give them a try.
