I've never had a meal here (maybe a side here or there $6/). I come here for the vibe + mimosas- fresh fruit juice+ La Marca prosecco 10/glass+ quaint atmosphere. Perfect stop for a cool drink (before 3pm!!) while in Lewes.

We went on a Sunday morning at 10am. Very lucky to get 2 seats at the bar top area. Sat down and the guys working ignored us until went and asked the hostess for service. We got water by 10:30am, we then had to ask to order our drinks and food, we got our bloody Mary’s by 11am. We then got our food by 11:30am. Not 1 person gave any kind of service at all. It was a very unpleasant experience due to the lack of service. Food was ok but not worth the wait. I really wanted to make a great review with all 5 stars but I just can’t. Sorry Nectar, but I would work on the service side of your business if you really want to succeed….

Breakfast menu is great! Love the eggs Benedict, pancakes, and lattes. I wish they took reservations because the wait is always long. The front area gets packed with people putting their names down for the wait.

If you are a vegetarian or vegan, or just looking for something out of the ordinary, Nectar is your place for lunch in Lewis Delaware.
The menu has a eclectic entrées and sides. You can get a Vegan tuna salad substitute made from chickpeas and Nori. It definitely has that seaside flavor. You can get a side of kale chips.
this is nestled halfway down a little alley, but is much larger inside than you would think. Plenty of seating.
decor is kind of French country. Kitchen meets antique dealer. My only complaint is that my chair had hard wooden slats for a seat which was uncomfortable.
staff were friendly and everything came out very quickly.
that I mentioned this is also a juice bar. They have some just fruit juice but if you are adventurous like me, you will try the root smoothie with sweet potato beets, ginger, and other ingredients.
Parking is a problem during the busy summer season because this is a seaside town with a well developed shopping and restaurant District. You might have to circle the block a few times and find parking a couple blocks away. But that will definitely be worth it as this place really has amazing food.
And top it off with their amazing chocolate avocado torte. This is served with fresh fruit in season.

Absolutely amazing breakfast! They were able to handle gluten-free/milk/butter-free with no difficulty. Their juices are delicious! The gluten-free blueberry pancakes were perfect, and there were so many gluten-free options. The waitstaff was very kind and professional.

Consistently great food and service. It’s a small place and it’s always hopping, but the staff does a great job keeping food and service consistently better than their competitors. Food is fresh and hot, with great food and juice choices.

Nectar never disappoints with the quality of food, and taste of their product! Top notch. The only drawback is sometimes the front of house staff, mainly one server. Not sure how to spell his name, but it’s pronounced See-me. He was cold, dry, and wouldn’t make eye contact with us at all. Seemed like we were a bother to him. I’m just really thankful the food was tasty, that’s what made the time worth it.

We are on vacation and trying different places throughout our vacation. Its very hot outside and inside of the restaurant was also very hot and very sticky 79 degrees. It was extremely loud!! The inside was super cute.
My wife enjoyed the chicken salad and it was a good portion size. I ordered the egg salad sandwich, it was nothing great and a little bland, could use a little more salt, I shouldhave asked for hit sauce. The dressing for the side salad was good, side mac and cheese was good. The grilled cheese and tomato was very little for the price, the soup was watery and bland. The grilled cheese was for out 13yr old and definitely was sized for a child.
Service was lacking, we waited a good bit for our water, and our ice melted instantly when we did get it. The juice drinks were made fresh, approximately 8oz for $10. Maybe in off season when its not 90 degrees out the experience may be better.
