The food was very fresh and the bagel was fluffy. Unfortunately, the coffee lacked flavor, and the mocha tasted like watered down hot chocolate. The staff were not very friendly. That said, it’s clear the locals really enjoy this place, people were chatting and having a good time, which gave the café a pleasant atmosphere.

Olive & Oats created a fantastic spread for a holiday party. I spoke with the manager, who helped plan the luncheon, then I didn't have to think about it again until he put it in my car. My guests loved the food. I will definitely use Olive & Oats again for catering.

Lovely place for breakfast lunch and just a coffee. The atmosphere is very cozy, you run into a lot of locals, and the coffee is really good.
From the breakfast food, the bagels are excellent, but I particularly recommended the breakfast frittata.
Also a good place to work in the morning with your laptop, although on busy days the policy is no laptops after 11 AM, which is fair given the limited space

One of the best salad’s I have ever had (served during lunch hours), atmosphere is beyond charming, hard-working staff. I also bought the mug my cappuccino came in. A must-visit!

I liked the Mediterranean Wrap that they made vegan for me, which as far as I remember was simply by removing cheese. I do wish they would add something creamy for us vegans but otherwise it was delicious. Coffee was just ok. Their outdoor seating is limited but at least dog friendly. Not many places in this cute little town that are vegan friendly or dog friendly, which is shocking to me Updated from previous review on 2024-10-14

Stopped on the way to the beach for a vanilla iced latte, customer service was not great, not greeted with a smile or welcome, felt rushed (even though it was not busy), my drink was made within seconds (seemed careless), and it was entirely too sweet, artificial vanilla flavor, and just overall very poorly made latte… for $6.50… I love to support small and local when I can, but this was a disappointing experience.

Food was good, coffee even better, but very over priced! Just one other comment, the cushions on the benches are really dirty, yuk!!! Either replace them or wash them.

On our way back from Cape May to NC we stopped off for a walk and a bite to eat in Lewes. Our main concern was my daughter's gluten sensitivity, so we chose Olive and Oats. Not only did she find something she liked, my whole family chose craft sandwiches that were savory and lean. We were blown away and it was the perfect healthy option prior to the last leg of our trip. I had the Cafe' pan Bagnat, my wife had the Mediteranean, and the other daughter had the cafe panini. It was so delicious I took the menu home and cloned it from scratch. Cant wait to visit again. ?

Food was amazing!! They had gluten free bread, so any sandwich there could be made gluten free. I got the Café panini, and it was absolutely amazing. The rest of my party was very pleased with their food as well. The waitress wasn't overly friendly, but I didn't see much of an issue with it, and I only spoke to one. They bring the food out to you, but you put the baskets away yourself. Overall amazing atmosphere and experience!
Parking: There's parking very close to the cafe, next to a public restroom and a beautiful flower garden. They have meters to pay, but I believe they're all disabled (we had to use an app). It was about $3.50 for 2 hours.

Cute little cafe right around the historic buildings of Lewes. My husband (who’s very picky about his bubble tea) said it’s the best taro he’s ever hand. Their cookies were delicious as well. The folks working behind the counter were professional and personable, even when we had a large stroller in a small space (sorry!)
