Excellent not fancy delicious BBQ. Sides were tasty too which sometimes are not so great at roadside stops. If you are on the fence, go for it.

Carolina style pulled pork is about the best I've ever had. Their own vinegar based sauce is the coup de gras. Awesome brisket, too. The gave me a sample of their new turkey chili. The meat is shredded (not tasteless ground turkey), and damn good. This is by far, the best BBQ in our area. Honest prices, too!

Unfortunately not a great experience. Got very excited to go there, but service by Noel was pretty unfriendly/cold. Asked if they already served food as it was early in the morning and the answer was a cold “yes”, next I asked what they have and the answer was an unfriendly “bbq”. Thanks Sherlock, would have not guessed that.

I've ridden by Slo & Lo while biking the loop sooo many times. It always smells so good - but I'm many miles from home and don't want to stop for a meal mid workout. This week on Monday - while I was riding by I finally stopped and talked to the guys and they were soooo nice. They told me their hours for the week (currently Friday - Monday until about 4 or 5 whenever they sell out). Yesterday I was riding by and was surprised to see they were open on Easter. I didn't have any money but planned to come back w my car.WOW this place is great! First off, the 2 owners/cooks are the nicest, most laid back dudes. We ordered a brisket sandwich platter and a pulled pork sandwich platter. The platter came w 2 sides. The choices yesterday were greens, coleslaw, potato salad, and corn bread. We chose corn bread and greens and also greens and coleslaw. Yesterday they also were giving away a drink w the platter altho I'm not sure that you always get that. Everything was delish!! But the greens were the best greens I have ever eaten in my life. They were unbelievable - and before we left we ordered a pint of more greens to take home. The meals are extremely well priced and I'm regretting not stopping years ago!!

Really good. I've had a ribs a few times. Very good but not always consistent. Sometimes a little dry. Not sure if it was late in the day but it would be better if they wrap in foil and remove to warm area to avoid them getting too dry.

Stopped by on Saturday morning during a long bike ride around the amazing Lewes/Rehoboth trail system. Greeted with a smile by the enthusiastic owner, ordered the pull pork and let him recommend sides to accompany. Every bite was better than the previous, from the juicy pulled pork to the cornbread that was basically dessert, also enjoyed the potato salad and cole slaw. He's out there from Good Friday to Black Friday and I definitely recommend stopping in if you're passing through this part of Delaware. No website or social media, just a hard working guy on the side of the road with his smoker and some great food.
