our first visit to this Big Fish group location, to use a gift card. Might be a new favorite! It was comfort food night, yummy! Samantha was our attentive server.
Excellent fish & Chips. My Mother-in-law said the lobster roll was better the she has had in Maine.

Nice place, sat inside. It was still busy inside ( after Labor Day). Nice beer on tap selection. Had the bistro burger, (fm menu:Black angus beef, brioche bun, caramelized onion bacon jam, white cheddar, arugula) was really good. A bit pricy spent 60+ on 2 burgers with fries and 2 beerss. I know I know beach town prices. Don’t get me wrong everything was great and will go back. Probably try one the entrees. The has Alagash White on tap, yum.

More than happy to recommend Stripers bar in Lewes. My son and i were on holiday from the U K visiting family who live locally. I mentioned to our waitress that my son and I have a serious fish / seafood allergy (yes! we went to a seafood restaurant). We sat on an outside table. The staff went over and beyond making sure that our food wasn't in any way at risk of being cross contaminated. They cooked my chicken breast in the oven. They made our experience as pleasant as possible without making us feel like we were being awkward. The food was excellent and given an opportunity I will return.
Dietary restrictions: They were fab at catering to my fish /seafood allergy to avoid any illness

Waiter Jonathan was excellent and attentive, food was tasty and reasonably priced. Great experience.
Trendy spot with indoor and outdoor seating with a solid menu and plenty of specials, a nice drink selection also
Parking: Parking can be a lil challenging as it is located in a nice touristy section of town but we were able to find parking within a block pretty quickly, well worth the challenge though

The food was very good! I would definitely come back here. A lot of screaming kids and one of them kept screaming for almost an hour. The staff did everything right and were very friendly!

Delicious food. ??
This kind of place would have somebody who's never liked seafood clean their entire plate ?️
The food is so good it leaves you with flashbacks.
I usually don't subscribe to the idea of returning to the same spot often, but I will make an exception here!

I would recommend reservations if going for dinner. We showed up on a Friday night and had a 45 min wait. However, the wait was worth it.... Food was amazing...we had the crab dip with was amazing, dragon roll, fish and chips and the north eastern. We would go back again if in the area.
Parking: You have to park on the street and you either have pay or park down road and on side street there is free parking.

Stopped for quick bite around 1pm. Tables and bar seats were available but staffing was short so we waited longer than 10min for a table. We ended up sitting at the bar. The bartender was also serving all of the tables in the bar area so it was hard to be attentive to all customers as we waited for drinks, condiments, refills etc. I was craving some nachos so that's what I ordered. The cheese was a homemade queso and we added chicken and guac. The whole dish lacked seasoning. Had to add salt and pepper to give it some flavor.

Loved my meal…shrimp taco salad. The ‘Hot Mess’ dessert is so good ‘Funnel fries with vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce, whipped cream, and powdered sugar. Also, I had the best server here. Request Ashley!!!

Pleasantly surprised. We decided to head in after seeing the good reviews online when we needed a place to eat. We ended up getting the fish and chips, crab cakes, mussels, and a side of fries. All were very good. The crab cakes were well worth their price. They tasted obviously homemade and had a lot of crab in them. The fish and chips had a light batter and was really well done. The mussels were definitely more cajun inspired and the sauce was a little spicy but nonetheless still cooked well. The fries were well seasoned and not too oily. It was a little busy when we went so we did have to wait a bit to get our food and to be waited on, but other than that a good experience.

Striper Bites is a laid-back seafood restaurant that serves some of the best tasting seafood in the Lewes area. As a licensed surf fishing guide from Long Island, NY, I can say their seafood is fresh and nicely presented. I even felt at home with photos of blitzing stripers around the Montauk Lighthouse (my stomping grounds). Crab cakes were excellent, as well as their fresh mussels. Other members of our party enjoyed their halibut and salmon, etc.
The service was great. We had a party of 12, and our server was attentive and friendly. We all had a great time. our party ages were from 11 to 80 years old. Will return again
