We went on a special night which had 1 pound lobster deal. It was the smallest lobster I've ever seen and it smelled and tasted funny. I didn't eat more than two clauses which were like the size of crab claws cause they tasted terrible. I'm not sure the lobster at the limit to keep instead of throwing back in the water, but it definitely wasn't fresh. I'm glad I didn't eat the whole thing cause I was sick in the middle of the night for the whole night through the next day. I'm not sure it was the lobster but that's the only thing I ate. I should've known because it was so inexpensive. It used to be a great little local spot, but I've been there twice in the last two weeks both times for specials. Last time for the steak, which was very chewy and this time for the lobster which was too small and not very fresh. Which kind of makes me sad because it's a really cute little l cozy local place to go to on an off-season night.

My wife and I and another couple had a lovely lunch here on Saturday Oct 18. We were touring busy Lewes and decide to have lunch here. Some of the dishes we ordered were the crab cake sandwich, the flash friend rockfish wrap, the garden salad with chicken and the soup and salad combo dish. All the dishes were well prepared and delicious. We'll undoubtedly return the next time we down for a visit.

Stopped in for lunch, and we were immediately impressed. We ate outdoors in the comfortable, dog-friendly patio. The food was incredible and had very generous portions. I had the Bistro Burger. It was cooked perfectly, and included a tasty combination of the bacon jam and house spread. The Brussels Sprouts as my side were fresh and lightly seasoned with a bit of salt and pepper. Service was friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back.

Went here from recommendations. Ordered fish & chips along with the grilled salmon (September special). My husband only got 1 piece of fish and it was over cooked. My salmon was dry. Hoping the cook was having a bad night.

Salads were good. Waitress was great, hostess was nasty. Shrimp was just okay, but the lobster roll turned me off of lobster rolls for a while. Had a fishier taste than fish! Tasted nothing like lobster, and served with that nasty warm oil, not butter.

Lobster Roll stinks. People are saying that Lobster Rolls in the New England area are 100% better. I imagine this is probably being said because Atlus restaurant group doesn't have great connections with the Lobster fishery and therefore it probably isn't as fresh.
Decided to go there yesterday for their off-season specials Yesterday happened to be lobster. We were a party at 5. As the host told us it was a 10-minute wait as she cleaned off the table after she cleaned the table she still had us wait an additional 5 minutes before she seated us which we found odd. One seated it wold be another 10 minutes before anyone took our drink orders. The server it was very nice. Food included in our order where's the calamari, crab dip, Brussels. While tasty, the crab dip was soupy, so we were all disappointed. The lobster special did not come with a side it only came with a salad or soup so you have to order an additional side if you wanted one. The soup choice underwhelming, a tortellini and sausage soup. While cream of crab was on their menu they only offered a tortellini and sausage soup as your choice. One of the guests with us ordered steak frite, medium, the steak was well done bummer for her. Another word for turkey Burger was not tasty and I ordered the fish and chips which was a catfish and it was over fried. Overall experience was lackluster unfortunately we wanted to like this restaurant but it didn't make the cut. We've been in Lewes for over 5 years now, vacationing here for several years before living here and we've been taking our guests to several different restaurants in the area and unfortunately Striper Bites disappointed.
