Was informed that unfortunately all the bagels are made with milk powder and cannot be made dairy-free. However, I still go just for the home fries and smoothies. Their smoothies are a great value (I think all the smoothies are vegan by default) and they're a nice size for the price too. The home fries are also confirmed vegan and they're consistently delicious! Seriously, don't skip out on the home fries. They also have some veggie wraps with hummus that can be made vegan but nothing too exciting.

I’ve edited my former review because I’ve been back to Surf Bagel again and they’re back to being excellent. Two times and I’ve had excellent bagel sandwiches. Great to see the owners listen to complaints and make necessary changes.

The best bagels around. We are addicted to them. They have a chewy exterior and a delicious soft interior and are nice sized.

the bagels don't taste the way the used to, I'm not sure why. drier and not as sweet as a bagel should be. I'm wondering if something has changed n the recipe or preparation.
I work for a local medical practice and we always ordered from Surf Bagel. Since the new ownership, it seems that the quality and quality is lacking. I just opened a bacon, egg and cheese bagel and there is hardly any bacon on sandwich. We do not mind paying the price but it is obvious the quality is not the same. We have Drug Reps that bring us lunch but when they ask us now, we choose another restaurant. We miss the old Surf Bagel.
