Jeff our server was awesome!!! He made sure that we always had crabs in front of us for the All You Can Eat Crab special. Even other employees that work here made sure we had everything we needed and wanted. I am definitely coming back here. They deserve more than 5 stars.

Cozy and casual atmosphere with delicious food!The food was out of this world. We were a party of four. Three of us got the all you can eat crab. It was well worth the time and money. Everything was delicious, hot, and well prepared. The hush puppies were some of the best we have ever had. The Cole slaw was a deliciously creamy pallet cleaner. The fries were hot, crispy, and delicious. The crabs were perfectly seasoned with a delicious rub and accompanied by butter.If we were locals, this would be our go to spot.

Surf"s crabs are priced much higher than other competitors.Probably as a deterrence.AUCE, 62.00 compared to 50.00 at Bushels.So I headed back to Bushels...Their auce comes with corn and red skin potatoes. Surf comes with cole slaw. The crabs at Bushels were steamed perfect and sweet and not a bad crab thrown in like Ive had at Surf.Maybe Surf should have a mixed dozen priced at an AUCE and do away with the AUCE...I did get a few bad crabs thrown in the bunch here at Surf in the past at their AUCE...THE BEST AUCE IS CLAWS IN REHOBOTH BUT IT CLOSES FOR SEASON IN OCT. Bushels stays open all year long.

We have been to the Surfing Crab many times and their crabs have always been excellent with ayce, however we went last night and they were extremely light and some were mushy, I would say nine out of ten were very light. For $62.00 pp I was expecting decent crabs. We will go again in the future but if it is the same it will be our last time.

We were there a few weeks ago. Food was incredible, but they were backed up and we had to wait almost 45 minutes for our table (which they told us about in advance, so NBD), but we then had to wait 20 minutes for someone to take our order and another 60 to get our food. I'm pretty sure our waiter forgot to put in our order because we saw others seated after us getting their food and as soon as we asked, it was magically "next up". By that time we were so hungry, we didn't care how good the food was. The waiter didn't seem that apologetic either. It would have been nice to at least get a complimentary beer or something for the wait. Frustrating experience.

We happened to find this restaurant in our search for crabs-did not disappoint! Our server was so friendly and attentive. The food was great-got crabs, shrimp, clams, and two baskets. Atmosphere is casual and laid back! Awesome find!!

After sharing our bad dining experience with the manager, the owner called me a fn ahole multiple times. Such a low class guy who was trying to provoke an altercation. He never even asked what the concern was and just came out cursing when we just wanted to leave after waiting an extraordinarily long time for crabs and after the rest of our table finished thier crab cake sandwiches that were ordered at the same time. This place is expensive, especially the crabs, and to be treated this way is infuriating. I paid for what we ate and left. There are many other crab houses in the area where dining is a pleasure. I suggest avoiding this establishment.
