“Such a great place! The food is wonderful and the service is great. You order your food and they nicely bring it to the table. Order has always been made exactly as ordered!

The cheesesteaks (both beef and chicken) are AMAZING! So flavorful and delicious and not very greasy at all. The turkey subs are fantastic too, so packed with meat that it’s worth every penny!

The sides are yummy too! Onion rings are hand made and so good! They also have a good selection of chips, sodas and ice cream! Highly recommend this place!“

So the lose a star because they don't have shakes. This is un-American. A Diner has shakes, it just is.

And yet, they don't.

“This is place is amazing. We go here a couple times every few months and every time we go its just amazing. Service is absolutely amazing, the hostess is always super kind and we always have a super cool waiter. The management is amazing also. The wait for the food is a little long but its typical for a restaurant. We waited and bit long for our fries one time and they served us dessert on the house for the wait, amazing. The restaurant itself is very cool, has a bar inside with plenty of tvs for sports. I definitely recommend this place for a place for dinner with family, friends or just night out on friday. Love the food, its always hot and absolutely delicious. Totally recommend this place.“

“The crab cakes were VERY BAD. Aside from that; everything was delicious. Chris was our server and she gave awesome recommendations and switched out the crab cakes as soon as we voiced concern. We had the southwest chicken Mac & cheese, a warm pretzel and the buffalo cauliflower,(that last one per Chris’s recommendation), which were incredible. Also had the spicy margarita and the spiked Arnold Palmer. We sat on the back patio which overlooks a pond. It’s nice and tranquil. I had the constitutional and added strawberries to my pancakes. I substituted my sausage and bacon for turkey products as well. It was a great morning. “I have lived in Delaware for 78 years and never heard of this place. We went to Virginia restaurant on eastern shore for great seafood. They closed their doors during the pandemic. Our friends have been looking on line for local restaurants that serve seafood we like. Checked your restaurant out the first part of August. Food is delicious. Our compliments to the chef. Staff very friendly and service was excellent. Restaurant very clean and view is breathtaking. Telling everyone we know. Taking my sister and brother-in-law August 17 2023 for lunch.“

The “triple play” option gave us a nice variety, while keeping everything reasonably priced. Our service was consistent without ever being over the top. Food was very good, and hot. It had not been left sitting under a heat lamp. Check out the “home run” option if those drinks are in your wheel house! Or you’re one who saves room for dessert! Will, for sure be putting this back on our list! Staff was clearly prepping for the dinner rush by cleaning and stocking needed items, but it never took away from service.“

However, while we were here (my 9 year old and i) there was a server who got mad at the bartenders boyfriend who was a paying customer at the bar. “Used to go to Hall's regularly until they lost it. Recently tried Mike and Mels and were pleasantly surprised. Split pea soup is the real deal, chunks of ham and delicious flavor. So is the chicken noodle soup. Chunks of chicken, a hearty broth and great flavor. Liver and onions is done just right and tender. Have tried several burgers and they do a nice job on them. Good breakfast, but I am not a fan of their home fries. Reasonable prices and good service.“

“This place may be a chain but thy make excellent pizza. It tastes so good you can eat the whole pie including the crust. This location is huge and has an arcade inside too which is fun. Theres different things to buy on the menu and you never leave hungry. This is close to dover raceway so you can go here for food.
