“Over the years I have dined at the backyard and taken others with me. It's always been a delightful experience; five stars for sure. Recently, I brought 2 new people to the backyard for breakfast and everything was A la carte. It cost about $75.00 for breakfast. When 2 of my friends and I east breakfast one a week at Westside in Milford it cost me $10.00 + 3.00 tip so 3 of us may be $39.00. Big price difference!!! Unfortunately, I will choose another place instead of The Backyard.“
“This place is a hidden gem! We have been here for breakfast, lunch and dinner and no meal has disappointed. the service is friendly and efficient. the atmosphere is small, theres only about 15 tables. Very busy at breakfast time so expect to wait if you go at peak times. but worth it. my husband loves the apple cider mimosas and the food is cooked so well with fresh ingredients. i cannot recommend this place enough, it has rapidly become our go to spot for any meal of the day.“
“I’m really at a loss for all the bad reviews. My wife and I ate here and had some of the best crab cakes ever. It’s nothing fancy inside. Nice sea faring decor. But the servers were attentive and for having just two for the dining room, they did well. All the food coming out looked great. Nice little bar on the other side. Absolutely no complaints. And for the prices, it’s definitely worth it.“
“I was in search of a restaurant locally that may offer gluten free options as my spouse suffers from celiac disease. I searched online and stumbled across Beaches Seafood. My spouse has been craving crab cakes and I read a review stating that Beaches offers a gluten free crab cake option. I read through the reviews, some were not so great and some were amazing, despite the negative reviews we decided to give it a try. OMG! DO NOT LISTEN TO THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS! Beaches is a gem. The crab cakes are amazing! We would love to try more of the menu however cannot get pass how amazing the crab cakes are. The atmosphere is very inviting and the staff is amazing (we've been a few times now). Pricing is very reasonable. If you are looking for an enjoyable and friendly spot to eat that has great food, don't hesitate to try this place out.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options“
“The team at Westside is top-notch, providing impeccable service that is both prompt and friendly. They go above and beyond for kids, including my daughter, and the food is consistently high quality and delicious. Their unique breakfast specials, such as cannoli stuffed French toast and pumpkin baked French toast, along with a variety of omelettes and eggs Benedict, set them apart. I highly recommend trying their cinnamon roll pancakes, among other breakfast staples like pancakes, eggs, biscuits and gravy, and breakfast sandwiches. We love Westside so much that we visit at least once a week. Highly recommended!“
“It's always a pleasure to have lunch or dinner at Baywood. The service is efficient and friendly. The food rarely disappoints but the menu options don't change very often. The portions are large enough to split or take home half. We like to sit outside because the view is so pleasant. The side curtains come down if it rains and the ceiling fans are on in warm weather. Bar service is excellent.“
“Try the turkey and stuffing. I've had that before here. Very good. This time, I tried the sweet and sour chicken salad. It was pretty good with sauce on the side that was perfect. The servers are usually good. Angie is awesome. There is plenty of parking on the street or in the parking lot a few stores down.“
“Stopped by on a whim for a weekday lunch. Nice selection of sandwiches and we settled on a Philly cheesesteak and a turkey club sandwich (sandwiches come with chips - the up charge for fries was $4). Portions are large and we ended up each taking half a sandwich home (you can split a meal for an extra $3.99). The cheesesteak was pretty good - lots of meat and nice flavor. Added mayo, lettuce, and tomato. The turkey club is not a traditional club - this one had only two slices of bread (not toasted) with turkey piled high, jack cheese, avocado, and arugula. While I don't mind arugula, I did most of it off because the taste was overpowering for the sandwich. Service was excellent and all the staff worked together. We ended up splitting a slice of chocolate mousse cake which was delicious. The menu has many daily specials and we plan to return to try the burgers and wings. Plenty of TVs to watch sports - cool place for casual American food.“
“It's Applebee's. I don't think I have ever met anyone who strays from the same dish they always get, and like so I ordered the Fiesta Lime Chicken. It is consistently delicious. My friend was a little more card conscience and swapped the rice for broccoli. Looked good and she seemed to enjoy it. Our waitress was super friendly and the manager checked in on us. It was a Monday night and we were seated right away.“
“Love this place. Usually get the brisket sandwich, which is great, and it has the only restaurant potato salad I’ve ever enjoyed. The staff is super nice, and if you eat out back, you can look at the statue of Bigfoot across the street while dining.“
