“This place is a hidden gem! We have been here for breakfast, lunch and dinner and no meal has disappointed. the service is friendly and efficient. the atmosphere is small, theres only about 15 tables. Very busy at breakfast time so expect to wait if you go at peak times. but worth it. my husband loves the apple cider mimosas and the food is cooked so well with fresh ingredients. i cannot recommend this place enough, it has rapidly become our go to spot for any meal of the day.“
“Cutest coffee shop I've ever been in. Be sure to walk all the way to the back. The egg, bacon and cheese in croissant was not only the largest I've ever had, but also the best. You have to visit hereVegetarian options: Our vegetarian had the veggie cruffin“
“I’ve edited my former review because I’ve been back to Surf Bagel again and they’re back to being excellent. Two times and I’ve had excellent bagel sandwiches. Great to see the owners listen to complaints and make necessary changes.“
“Stopped by on a whim for a weekday lunch. Nice selection of sandwiches and we settled on a Philly cheesesteak and a turkey club sandwich (sandwiches come with chips - the up charge for fries was $4). Portions are large and we ended up each taking half a sandwich home (you can split a meal for an extra $3.99). The cheesesteak was pretty good - lots of meat and nice flavor. Added mayo, lettuce, and tomato. The turkey club is not a traditional club - this one had only two slices of bread (not toasted) with turkey piled high, jack cheese, avocado, and arugula. While I don't mind arugula, I did most of it off because the taste was overpowering for the sandwich. Service was excellent and all the staff worked together. We ended up splitting a slice of chocolate mousse cake which was delicious. The menu has many daily specials and we plan to return to try the burgers and wings. Plenty of TVs to watch sports - cool place for casual American food.“
“This spot should win bakery of the century! Make sure you get there early because they sell out FAST! Their food is amazingly fresh, and the staff is super friendly. The space is small so I preferred to grab and go but if you want to have a bite with a friend and have some gal talk this place is perfect. Nestled in the heart of Milford, it's the perfect spot to grab a snack and roam around the farmers market or view the river and visit one of the many restaurants or even the gallery close by.“
“Really good bagels! For me, the test of a bagel shop is how good the bagels taste without toasting them, and Surf did not disappoint. I've tried bagels with cream cheese and breakfast sandwich bagels, both are delish. Surf has a good variety of bagels, including rarer ones like egg-everything and jalapeno bagels. There is plenty of seating inside, and the beach decor is fun.“
“Over the years I have dined at the backyard and taken others with me. It's always been a delightful experience; five stars for sure. Recently, I brought 2 new people to the backyard for breakfast and everything was A la carte. It cost about $75.00 for breakfast. When 2 of my friends and I east breakfast one a week at Westside in Milford it cost me $10.00 + 3.00 tip so 3 of us may be $39.00. Big price difference!!! Unfortunately, I will choose another place instead of The Backyard.“
