This is the only real Jamaican restaurant in the area. The food is tasty with a full rich flavor. I’m Jamaican and I cook. Time and care is put into the quality and flavor of the food. Every restaurant may have its moments where something isn’t perfect. In comparison to other choices, this restaurant is my only go to for real island home cooking when I don’t feel like cooking.
My friend and I went today and we both LOVED the food.I had oxtail with cabbage, rice and plantains. She had goat curry.Generous portions and tons of flavor. Will be back!LOVED the Gospel music playing when we walked in as well! ?
I’m from NY and I FINALLY found some REALLY GOOD home cooked food with flavor that is unmatched by anyone here in Delaware. I promise you will not be disappointed. And FYI, I never leave reviews, but for this place I will. Thank you! ????
