I tried this little place out for the first time today and enjoyed it overall. I think it will work in a pinch if I am ever in the mood for Rice Vermicelli and can’t get to one of my preferred spots. The establishment is clean and has nice lighting. I went during lunch, so service was speedy. The egg (spring) rolls were piping hot and fresh. My pork was warm, but did not taste freshly made and could have had better flavor for my liking. Of course the hoisin and sriracha sauce made my complaints go away. All in all, for average tasting food and $21 I won’t be rushing back, but I’d say give it a try if you’re looking for a local spot.

Delicious variety of Vietnamese foods. The pho has a well balanced broth. I ask for more herbs to add to my bowl and they happily replenished my plate. Drinks are flavorful with a nice complement of flavors. The steamed bao bun is light as air. It is much better to eat there rather than for take-out. Past experience has shown this dish does not hold well for the drive home.

This is by far the worst Pho I've ever had. No taste, no seasoning. Cheap ingredients, the sausage is definitely from Lidle. The fried ride was disgusting, over cooked, no seasoning whatsoever. I could taste the plastic container more than the actual rice. Disgusting all around, I threw everything away after the first bite.

I have tried many pho places in Philly and Maryland. This one is one of the best.

The tea cup had stains and FOOD inside it. The tea pot was chipped and dirty. There were soy sauce stains and dried food caked to the wall at our table. We should have left after seeing this, but we stayed. The wings were good but too breaded and there was almost no meat in the pork fried rice. The broth to the pho was delicious. The meatballs looked unappetizing.I miss Mr. Sushi.

The food here isn't good. I'm from NYC and there is nothing that tastes authentic at this place and the original restaurant in Dover. Pho is bland and the pork chop is way too thick and doesn't have the classic flavor of grilled pork. I bet all the good reviews are from the people who have never left Delaware and wanted to try "exotic" food.

I was excited to visit a pho viet restaurant in middletown DE. That’s why I was so disappointed with the results. We had family visiting from out of town so I wanted to take them home somewhere nice. The vegetables were fresh that was the only good thing but not good enough reason to return. We were never greeted while walking in, instead we were just stared at with blank faces by the staff. The chili sauce had hair in it and the soy sauce and other condiments looked filthy with old sauce surrounding all of the tops like it had never been cleaned off. The table was greasy and dirty. (Looking back we should have left immediately) I ordered the boa brisket which was unfortunately served cold SMH! & the pho flank steak. I ordered lemon with water for a drink because I was parched When I let the waitress know there was something floating in my drink she tried to say it was pulp. Green particles floating in water is clearly not pulp! Once notified, the waitress should have served a fresh cup of water. Had to ask for a new cup with lemon. If I could rate this place zero stars I would. If I were a food inspector I would have shut them down. This place will not last in Middletown with such horrible service& hair floating in the condiments that should be changed on a daily basis. The other reviews are true!!! There is still hair in the chili sauce!!!! Probably the same strand of hair!!! What a disappointment. This was the first and last visit.

The pho:Just great, generous amounts of meat and noodles. The bowl was chock-full. Delicious strong broth. Good sides--fresh bean sprouts, Thai basil, jalapeno pepper and lime. A bowl the size of your head. I couldn't finish it of course, I never can. It was as good as Philadephia's "Little Saigon" pho.The Spring Rolls (summer rolls? salad rolls?) Rice paper lettuce wrap. Come in pork, shrimp and some other varieties. Peanut-Hoisin dipping sauce. Lots of lettuce, carrot and vermicelli and juicy-fresh. The meatballs weren't the best I'd ever had nor the tendon, which I like more overcooked and gelatinous (I got the #2 style Pho with tendon, brisket, flank and meatball) but it was quite good. The noodles were delicious. This was about the best pho I've had outside Philly, which seems to be the magic Emerald City Land and if you stray away from Washington Ave, you won't be getting any good pho around here. One time, someone tossed corned beef in the pho. Oh, no no no. Well, this pho escaped the galactic pho barrier and made it back to Earth. I didn't get to try Vietnamese coffee because it was after five pm and I don't drink coffee late, and I didn't check to see if they had bahn mi but I think they do. (a sort of French bread Vietnamese hoagie.) The decor is clean and pleasant casual. The staff are nice and friendly. Looks like I'll be back a lot.
