We made a quick stop here on our way home from the beach. Such a cute little bakery! The place was very clean and the coffee and desserts were amazing! They had a bunch of games for kids or adults to play as well. We hope to visit again!
I sent Melissa a picture of a baby hamper with an elephant on it for my daughter’s elephant themed baby shower and they knocked it out of the park with an amazing cake and matching cake pops! So beautiful and even more delicious!! The attention to detail was out of this world. The vanilla cake with raspberry jam filling was five beautiful layers. It was almost too pretty to cut but also so pretty on the inside. I can’t say enough about the artistry, communication, and service....
Sweet Melissa's is always an absolute delight. Staff is kind, patient and accommodating (Shout-out to Gianluca, Annie and Sydney!). As someone with Celiac's it's also really nice to have a bakery to go to that is so careful and considerate of a wide variety of dietary needs and restrictions. I've gotten several pastries and other items over the years since I discovered this gem in the heart of Middletown and I have never once had a cross-contamination reaction....
