Wow! My wife and I discovered Kaan’s Bakery a couple of weeks ago and love this place. It’s a small town bakery located on a backroad in Millsboro. They specialize in cakes, muffins, pastries, cookies and more. They definitely have attracted the attention of all the locals, as they have a steady stream of carry-out customers. What attracted us was their Sunday brunch. It includes eggs cooked to order, freshly cooked bacon, sausage, corned beef, scrapple (a local delicacy), potatoes, pancakes, french toast, fresh cantaloupe and an assortment of sample pastries. Don’t know what brand coffee they have, but its rich flavor is outstanding! The atmosphere is fantastic! We feel like we are in a little European cafe, with soft music playing in the background and fresh bakery smells enhancing the experience. Try it! Hope you love it, as much as we do!

By far the best spot in Delaware. My family is originally from Long Island and Kaan’s is the closest thing to NY pizza we’ve found. It’s absolutely delicious, always fresh and tastes like home. The pastries are out of this world and also taste like they’ve all been made that day. The staff is always incredibly friendly and have treated us like family from our first visit. They have lifetime customers in us ! I recently broke my ankle and they even sent some extra goodies over for me, so blessed to have them a block away !

I ordered a mini Tiramisu cake using Door Dash. When delivered I received a slice which is not the same price as a mini cake. I called the bakery and she said that is what they have. Very rude and not helpful when they are in the wrong.

If I could give negative stars I would. It says buffet. But they bring out 4 pieces of French toast. And they had 2 pieces of sausage and 4 hard pancakes. Do not recommend! They suck! Don't ask you what you want to drink or how you liked your food.
I found this lovely little bakery while searching google and was happy that there was another place that makes tiramisu cake (my mother’s favorite) because it was her birthday I always try to make it special (the bakery I normally get it from is 3 hours away). She loved this cake so much and so did I! It was the perfect balance that even my husband who has compared every other tiramisu we’ve ever tried (and yes we try a lot from around the country) to the Publix brand (his top favorite) even said that this cake is from Kaan’s Bakery is now is favorite! I’m so glad I was able to get my mom this for her birthday cake! I will definitely order from here again! Thank you to Kaan’s Bakery for helping me make her day special! Can’t wait to try more desserts! :)

Had lunch there this week. Pizza and sandwiches were excellent. I think they may have just captured the crown for best pizza in Millsboro. Anxious to try some of their baked good, everything on display looked great !

We got a loaf of bread and it was molded in less than 24 hours. Inside seemed dirty. Nothing worth the cost.
