Walking into this restaurant i was eager to consume my dinner. hungry and devastated i get seated. The chairs roll! very fun. i like roll chairs. my sister makes a joke where she looks like a episode of 1000 pounds sisters as she rolls to the buffet. i take a look at the menu, very interested in what i could possibly want. pizza! a classic food that i know and love. (my whole world is about to change) the service is pretty good! high expectations for this place. i order a sprite, whilei get flashbacks of another incident when i ordered a sprite, my therapist told me to keep ordering sprite to get over the sprite waterfall incident. i get my sprite and it’s great! spicy snd sweet, just the way i like it. as an appetizer i get one of my favorite foods, mozzarella sticks. DELICIOUS! the mozzarella sticks were really good, tore them up. anyways, i get my pizza and it’s a large (there’s only one size, kinda disappointing) the pizza looks good and i am excited to try it! i pick the pizza up, slimy. i am getting yelled at by my family as i attempt to try it. they are saying “ITS HOT DONT EAT IT PUT IT DOWN!” and as my father and sister and my best buddy says “we ball”. I ball. i consume the pizza. disappointed and sad i put my slice down. i did not enjoy that pizza. overall the pizza was upsetting but the sprite, mozzarella sucks, and service was good.

Millsboro’s best little secret! The buffet had lots of choices, the food was great! The decor was cheery and our waitress was great, checking on us often. Will definitely like to go in the warmer weather and sit on the deck!

Located in Millsboro on the Indian River/Delaware Bay. Off the beaten path, but worth the journey if you are heading to the Rehoboth/Dewey Beach area.Walking in, you see a very eclectic decor and are greeted by very friendly staff. We were the only ones there at first at 4:00. The menu is equally eclectic in it's offerings of Italian and polish. We lucked in a Valentine's buffet and had to go with that. The buffet included soup, salad, bread station, antipasto, pasta with sauces, manicotti, eggplant Parm, fried shrimp, mussels marinara, pierogies, sausage with peppers/onions, kielbasa with kraut, mahi, sweet potatoes, brussel sprouts, and a dessert table. The staff were attentive even when additional guests began to be seated. We would definitely go back again.Parking: Parking lots are across from the restaurant

I need to update my review:While we very much enjoy the restaurant and the quality of the food is always good, we were quite disappointed on January 24th 2024 when we arrived before 6:30, and with the restaurant scheduled to be open until 8:00 The front door was locked. There was no sign of activity inside, and there was no sign on the door indicating why they had closed early.

Excellent find on the bay at Milsboro DE. New Years Eve. No reservations, no crowds no waiting. With my son, Daughter-in-Law & Wife. Interesting decor. Reminder of New Orleans

I've been coming to Serendipity for more than 10 years now, and I can never say enough about how much I love it. This hidden gem of Delaware definitely should be gatekept, but I can't stop telling people about it. The food here is absolutely exceptional. From my favorite sweet potato salted carmel fries to white pizza, this place has something for everyone. I love the eclectic decor that pairs perfectly with the waterfront view, to the beautiful benches and gorgeous flowers fencing the front. Even on the busiest days, you receive nothing less than exceptional service.

This one star goes to the sweetest, most pleasant, young lady that served our table. This place SUCKS THOUGH. I recently visited Serendipity DE with high hopes for a special birthday celebration, but unfortunately, the experience fell way short. This was our first and LAST time visiting. We already warned everyone we know not to come here. We arrived being the only ones in the parking lot and were the only people inside as if we rented the whole place out. The ambiance inside was awkward, lacking music and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff appeared unprofessional, and there were hygiene concerns, including finding hair in the food. To make matters worse, the dishes seemed to be of poor quality, with frozen and rubbery textures, leaving us questioning the high prices. Not to mention they pretty much had NOTHING on the menu in stock and served our drinks and alcohol beverages with no ice... None of our party of 5 (one didn't show) because we made reservations of this place) finished their plate. It was MISERABLE. Our reservation for the birthday celebration turned out to be embarrassing rather than memorable. Overall, it was a regrettable experience, and I hope the management addresses these issues for future patrons. OR. I HOPE GORDON RAMSAY COMES AND SHUTS THIS PLACE DOWN.

Food was good, though meatballs didn't have much in the way of seasoning. The sauce was pretty good. In regard to atmosphere, very fun retro decoration.

I sat in a sunbeam at one uniquely decorated restaurant this morning and it was wonderful! My pancakes were fluffy with hot blueberries. The view was amazing, gorgeous, sunny, a waterfront paradise spot. I wish I lived closer to come again!

service not good, our waitress had one speed-no sense of urgency. she claimed lunch was late due to they were working on turning the oven on. There were 4 tables in the whole place and it took 10 minutes to get drinks. My table mate & I each got Stromboli, one with one without olives, they got mixed up. Speaking of which, as a chef/ food service director, I've never seen a Stromboli with Brussel sprouts, wrong size & texture. And the service was apparently unimportant to the staff.

The best thing about our visit was the outside seating on the water. The rest was a disaster! From our service to the food, it couldn’t get any worse. For a restaurant that’s supposed to be known for their lasagna, it was the worst I ever had! Tasteless ground beef between multiple layers of lasagna noodles with very little sauce on the top ONLY! The other entrees weren’t any better but I really don’t want to waste any more precious time in my life on this restaurant. I think their hay-day has passed and they need to hang it up!

The food was great and the service is beyond. Note to customers, don't ignore your servers. It's rude. They are accommodating, nice and a little fun. Being on the water makes it even better. Thanks so much for your great service.

We didn't dine in but enjoyed the inside of the place. The food was amazing and we were all very happy. Cheeseburgers, pizza, and shrimp & scallop in a red sauce over pasta was so yummy!
