I should have listened to the reviews before driving 35min for my birthday lunch. The standards at this Texas Roadhouse are not what we are used to at home (Bear, DE). Our server, spilled water on me as she was putting it on the table. My husband watched her spill some of his beer as she rounded the corner. My Margherita was very sour. I called to speak with a manager in reference to cold food. I was on hold for almost 15 minutes, despite talking to two non-managerial employees first. I was placed on hold for way too long, and I eventually gave up, which is what I suspect the manager wanted. I placed my order online at 4:05PM and I selected 6:00PM as my pickup time, but they decided to have the food ready at 5:17PM to have it sit at room temperature for over 45 minutes (I arrived around 6:10PM). Food is always fantastic, our waitress was friendly & service great. However the hostess acted like she would rather play on her phone then seat me because when I told her I was meeting friends she replied they are in the back and went back to her phone I walked around for several minutes looking and couldn’t find my friends so very annoyed I went back up and said just where is the back & why can’t you seat me ?
