Living just outside of New Haven, CT, I'm used to very good pizza. I tried out Vinny's tonight and was pleasantly surprised. The dough is comparable to New York style and very good. The sauce was a little sweet for my liking. But overall, I was very impressed. Definitely check out this pizza place.

Wow ! I thought I would give this local little pizza spot my business but I should have known better. Customer service on the phone was non existent. Sounded like she would rather have been somewhere else. I ordered a small Italian sub. When I picked it up she said $14.97 ?. So when I was ordering she failed to tell me they only had one size. The sub was really bad. I got 5 slices of salami and the rest was ham. So basically a ham sub. At least I tried but they did not.

My calamari was inedible. My husband ordered chicken parmesan sandwich it was disgusting. The 2 cheese steaks was OK. I would never order from here

Their Bacon pizza is amazing! Taste very fresh and great quality. Their salad with grilled chicken is delicious and full of flavor. The building could use a makeover. Don't let that discourage you. You won't be disappointed.

The pizza is amazing. It’s easily the best in the area, hell it’s probably the best in Sussex county outside of few places with wood fire ovens.It’s nails Philly and NY tastes. They use great ingredients as well.Why am I rating it three stars?Oh because for some reason it’s impossible to get delivery on a Friday night. In fact, I’ve only been able to get delivery weird random days and times. Wednesday at 6pm for example, but not a Friday or a Saturday.It’s honestly a damn shame because this the only place I want to spend money at, but more than half the time I can’t.Why won’t you let me give you my money?

Pizza was decent. Skip the chicken parmigiana. Great garlic bread. The bigger issue was that it was 28 degrees outside and only about 50 degrees inside. We were going to dine in but it was so cold there we had to drive 20 minutes home with our food at which point anything that was previously hot was just lukewarm. Brrrrrrrrr.

Vinny used to make really good pizza. It was rhe original Italian pizza. With the new owners, the pizza is not good. The crust is different. We do not like it anymore. I hope Vinny comes back soon ?
