L&G Southern Soul Food offers tasty and authentic soul food at a reasonable price. Their catfish dinner is a highlight, served with flavorful green beans and collard greens. The restaurant also features a popular new sticky wings with a perfectly balanced sweet sauce. Other favorites include meatloaf mac & cheese, yams, and chicken fingers, all arriving hot and in large portions. Guests often enjoy the potato salad and salmon, which is cooked just right. The staff is friendly and welcoming, creating a warm atmosphere. Service is quick, making it a good spot for soul food lovers. Some customers suggest that the fish could use a little more seasoning and longer cooking, but overall, the food is satisfying. The fried wings are highly praised as the biggest and best, while the cornbread is often mentioned as a standout. Although some dishes may vary in taste, the yams and greens are consistently loved. Visitors are encouraged to try the place once, especially for the yams and greens.
