Everyone raved about this restaurant so I had to try, but unfortunately my first visit fell flat. I would maybe rate it a 3.5/5? For someone who has been to New Orleans multiple times and has religiously eaten the staples, I was surprised that typical food items weren’t on the menu (or I didn’t notice them) like etoufee, gumbo, red beans and rice, muffulettas, or even beignets. The jambalaya and Alligator were okay, but not what I thought it would be. Maybe I would need to order something else from the menu, but the items that we picked weren’t it. I would definitely consider this restaurant a NOLA inspired cuisine restaurant, instead of an actual cajun/creole restaurant. Our server, atmosphere, and drinks were great though!

Great atmosphere, service and food. I had the crawfish bisque to start, perfect flavor and taste. My wife had a baked brie from their daily lunch menu and it was honestly they most delicious thing we both have ever tasted. I had the vegetarian cheesesteak and it was also fantastic. Will be coming back to try more from the menu the next time I am near New Castle.

Food and atmosphere is fantastic. Portions are more than ample. Presentation is excellent. I'm from South Louisiana and the creole/cajun vibe is spot on. That's very rare...If I could give another star I would. The chef came out and visited each table and made time for a conversation.

We requested 2 Orange Crush’s and we gotten nothing but water & orange Juice, no alcohol which is expensive. My husband’s dinner portion was a kid size seafood pasta and my food was ok, however the catfish fried coating was greasy and thick…shouldn’t be fried, just grilled which would make a huge difference. The bacon wrapped date appetizer was delicious. Our service was very good, nice dinning setting and atmosphere was nice.

Ordered a seafood pasta dish that had very little seafood. They can’t split the check between two couples. Won’t be back.

This is a fun place, there is a bar “Mayor,” Dwayne, who is very friendly and adds a welcoming feel to the place. Enjoyed the food (garlic mashed potatoes are the best) and drinks were quite good. They make a pretty good old fashioned. Price reasonable and service was great.

Food excellent. Had the chicken, shrimp jambalaya. Service was excellent. Atmosphere excellent; if you like the Halloween theme. My only gripe was some of the drink costs, two cost more than my whole meal. Then I had a beer to wind it down, $2. Will 100% return to try their wings.

Patti was amazing. Super friendly, quick with drinks, and made the whole bar feel comfortable. She pays attention, remembers what you’re drinking, and has a great personality that makes the night better. If you come here, definitely sit at her bar—she’ll take great care of you.
