I started with a French Kiss Martini, which was very sweet and tasted heavily of pineapple juice—almost too much so for my liking. The crawfish bisque was very flavorful; possibly a little over-seasoned, but still enjoyable. The bread with the butter sauce was pretty tasty and a nice touch.

For my entrée, I had two blackened crab cakes, which unfortunately tasted undercooked with a mushy texture and were also over-seasoned. The mashed potatoes were very creamy...
Nora Lee's is an amazing New Orleans atmospheric restaurant with the best Cajun Creole food in town. My fiancee got the blackened chicken platter cause she's afraid of heat. But loved it I had the voodoo sirloin (which is a blackened sirloin topped with voodoo crawfish tails. It was cooked perfectly and lasted amazing. My family has been in the food business for 50 yrs. And this is my go to place for Cajun Creole grub. Waitress was great and atmosphere was real deal....
Happy hour prices $2.00 coors light..
We were mainly there to sit at the bar/beer.
Ordered a burger which was adequate for a quick something on the stomach..wife loved her voodoo chicken but warns of how spicy it was ...
