Decent place not bad... Food looks good in the menu... 3 ? stars ? due to the language barrier ?. Spanish is all they speak, hope your fluent with your language! 1 person in the back of house speaks English. I was informed that the bilingual individual was off this day, so be careful I guess

Nice place, We always drive from an hour away for the excellent food! We love snack Mondays, karaoke is a plus in the atmosphere which is very good, we had a great time. The drinks are very good (we love the tamarind margarita) and the service, not to mention, we were served by the Colombian who wears braids, a very good representative, everything was impeccable.

Nice place a little pricey but the food and drinks are good. Their empanadas camarones and ensalada de pulpo and fish bowl drinks were amazing! Nice atmosphere the music is a little loud making it hard to have a conversation. Other than that it's a nice place.

Our first experience was alright, agua chile, beers, live music from a 3 person band. We thought “let’s go again”, this is what we got:
1.) As soon as we got in, we were sat immediately next to a full band, not a couple musicians, an ENTIRE 15-person band. I couldn’t hear the person next to me, let alone order.
2.) We were moved to the back of the restaurant for not wanting to sit at the table right next to a 15-person banda. They sat us in a back corner, at a table that wasn’t even wiped down properly. It was not busy at all, so I’m not sure why we couldn’t sit at a cleaner booth.
3.) We wait for our server, place our drinks, then our food orders, it was fine. I’m just glad I could have an actual conversation with my 4 person group.
4.) We get the drinks, they are fine, but our food??? We waited 40 mins for food that was cold and bland! The molcajete was fine, you can’t really mess up grilled assorted meats, but the sauce had no flavor. The Camarones de Coco were pre-cooked frozen ones. The empanadas de camarones were actually good, but you charge $20 for 4 tiny empanadas???? The worst of it all was the pizza. This is the description “Made from scratch pizza. Topped with a white sauce and breaded shrimp.” We should’ve taken a picture before we sent it back, it was a medium FROZEN pizza, from a grocery store. A plain, FROZEN pizza, with a ton of tomato sauce, frozen shredded cheese, topped with the “white sauce” (it was more shredded cheese) and FROZEN shrimp, that wasn’t even breaded. Now, I didn’t want the pizza, someone else ordered it, but if it’s an item that you can’t even be bothered to attempt to make as your description says, why have it on the menu at all??? It upset me so much, almost $30 for that, you charge people almost $30 a plate for every item. I know seafood is expensive, but when your cooks don’t care what they are serving, your servers don’t care about what they are serving, and the owners think this is ok, I cannot see a place like this lasting.
5.) our server also became non-existent, and I’m pretty sure she charged us for the pizza when we sent it back, we didn’t even touch it. We just paid, she couldn’t have been bothered, so we didn’t say anything when our bill came out to be over $100.

The majority of restaurants fail when they get started because of experiences like this. You need to tighten your menu, enhance the quality of your food product, invest in exceptional servers, and stop wasting money on an entire musical ensemble act when you don’t have the venue for it. The 3-person band is charming, the 15-person band is obnoxious.

Apparently the owners, management, and staff operate this establishment as a scam? I deliberately left out a tip as I was not pleased with my service ( took a very long time to get a menu, to take my order, to bring back my drink). My friend had to remind 3 different bartenders for her drink, just for the drinks to be watered down. The drink menu did not have any prices on it but that was not a problem.I paid my tab and crossed out the custom tip and also wrote a total of $16, because It was obvious that I did not have a good experience all night ( I just had my drink, didn’t complain). Later to be told by my bank that the bartender wrote in her own tip of 40%! If they do not have the capacity or expertise to serve a busy bar maybe they shouldn’t host events? But writing in your own tip is stealing.I do not recommend this location as this is fraudulent activity who poorly regulated their staff. Happy I kept a copy of my receipt!
