I wish our experience was better. My husband and I go out with a friend to experience a new restaurant about once a month. There was nothing upscale about the food as we read in one of the reviews. We were greeted by the sweetest waitress, she was the only one on that night and we could see how hard she was working. I ordered an Expresso Martini, but there wasn't any Expresso, so I had it with out the coffee. We ordered the croquettes as an appetizer, they were ok but were a little mushy on the inside. Our friend had the chowder and said it was not terrible, but wouldn't order it again. Not realizing it was pretty much bar food, hubby and I ordered the grilled cheese and eggplant sandwich with fries. I couldn't eat my sandwich, it looked like the bread was toasted in a pan that hadn't been cleaned form whatever was in it before the sandwich and it didn't have much butter on it. The eggplant for me was not edible, it tasted as if it were fried in old oil, it definitely had an off taste and the sandwich itself did not hold together as a grilled cheese. The fries were not good either, they were frozen and not cooked well. Our meals did not look good on the plate. We weren't looking for a fine dinning experience, but expected better. Whoever was the chef really needs to be better trained. Now for the entertainment, I hate to say this but the band wasn't very good. We left thinking we would not go back. I want every restaurant to succeed but unless there are some serious corrections in the kitchen, I'm afraid people might not go back for seconds. AMW

Love this place, we don’t drink alcohol but we love the food, we get the freshly made tomato bisque almost every week either in house or to go. The poutines are so delicious, the chicken wings are big and delicious. The staff is amazing and makes us feel like family. The live music is so great. The crowd is friendly and courteous. Will be coming back over and over again as always.Parking: Some Side of the building parking and lots of parking at the front.

Michelle was awesome. Myself and my hunny went for our 2 year anniversary celebration on a Monday and we just decided to go out but nothing too crazy. It was honestly a gem. We planned on going someplace else that when we ended up getting there we just didn't want to go in. We saw this place near there and decided to try it. It was so worth it. The food was amazing. The drinks were made awesome. It wasn't crazy expensive and we had an amazing time. Thank you Michelle and thank you Sonara for being what I wanted the most on a Monday! Just Awesome!

I just ordered a meal through Uber Eats and had high expectations because of the reviews. But!! This is the most foul Uber Eats food I’ve ever had. The gumbo taste like a super thick cornstarch slurry. The mash potatoes that come with the French Onion chicken taste like tasteless mush. I couldn’t even get more than 5 bites before I had to just push it away. $40 wasted and now I will be ordering elsewhere. Shocked and disappointed, was excited to try a new place.

We stumbled on this after seeing the menu on Google, and WOW! We were not disappointed! The food was DELICIOUS, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. What a gem!!!

We (my mom, younger brother, and myself) went there around 7:00 PM on a Sunday, so it was fairly quiet. The food and drinks were excellent, they had a nice selection of oldies on the music station, and due to being quiet, the service was prompt and attentive. This was our first time there, and all 3 of us agreed, we'll be returning.

Had brunch today. Everything from scratch. Simply Fantastic!! Coffee was wicked good! Can’t wait to get back. Deserts made on site and a lot of tender loving care baked in?❤️
The server did not provide a menu or water for all of our guests. Only certain guests were served. After placing our orders, each guest had their food brought out at different times over a 2 hour period. Our last guest got her food after everyone else had finished eating. The food was barely edible when it finally came and the dishes had old food left on them. None of our guests likes their drinks which were watered down. This resturant is great if you like waiting around.

OH what to say about this little gem! i mean seriously i would go to this place weekly if i lived in Delaware. We met the owner and she couldn't have been friendlier or funny!! The food was DELICIOUS!! i am from the South and we know chicken and waffles so I ordered them not expecting a lot and I was very surprised and pleased it was the best chicken and waffles I have ever had!! We had a party of 7 and the other items ordered was the burger with sage very interesting, the cornbread with chorizo gravy YUM!! French toast loaded with berries! Fancy deviled eggs with caviar and salmon The cocktails were tasty and all of it was so under priced!! Especially LOVE that this is owned and operated by ladies! The bar tender a very nice older lady knew her drinks! They offer a variety of fun things to lure you in during the week trivia, live music etc. and I would suggest if you are in the area GO!

The service really sucks. The food is, or at least used to be, good but they cannot seem to hire competent servers. Our waitress took our drink order and then just went and stood by the bar. Never got our drinks or got to place our order.

Sonora has been on my list of places to try for a long time and I’m soooo glad we finally stopped by! The food was absolutely incredible and a unique spin on some classic dishes. We didn’t get a chance the cocktails(we had a bit to drive after dinner) but they looked incredible and the presentation was awesome. We’ll definitely be back!
