This is an authentic place where the food is always made fresh from scratch and the recipes remind me of those I had encountered when I was in Mexico. You can get mole sauce on a wide variety of dishes which is similar to the excellent blends they have in Oaxaca. The horchata is my favorite drink and the large portion is generous. I also enjoy the dishes with mushrooms (hongos). The staff are friendly and helpful. I will go again whenever I am near the Delaware Memorial Bridge.

I have eaten at this place two times as take out and the third time I decided to dine in with my partner. The service and atmosphere was okay…we ordered salsa and they never brought it out until my partner went to the back to look for an employee, 15 minutes later they brought it out. We proceeded to eat and finish. While paying the bill the server took our card and added a tip themselves and returned with the receipt and card. They don’t have anything on the receipt stating that a gratuity charge would be added and the server didn’t announce anything about charging a tip! Imagine how we were surprised to see an extra charge after.. apparently it isn’t the first time it happens according to other reviews. As a person that always leaves cash it’s unnecessary that the workers charge tip themselves, I have always seen other businesses asking the customer first on the screen if they want to tip! I have not and will not return.

The "flan" taste like freeze dried tofu. And I didn't even want the flan I wanted the tres leches but when i called and asked what happened, farra said it was just inconvenient to give the correct item because it was being made and instead she replaced it with something that taste like a stale sponge in rain water. I grew up with flan since BIRTH and this is THE WORST most ATTROCIOUS "flan" I have ever encountered in my life. Not joking.
