Front desk service was excellent. Food was good
This is the best restraunt in the area. I got take out for a quick meal and enjoyed it so much that I brought my friends and sat down in the restaurant. The vodka pasta is unbelievable and their bread is the best you will try! Definitely will be back and would recommend to anyone!
Always a pleasure at Cacciatori's. Super friendly staff and great food
The best Egplant in the area!!!@
The pizza is absolutely stellar, and you cannot beat the price!
By far my family's favorite take out. The pizza is authentic. Perfect crust, sauce, and cheese. If you love NY pizza, this is the place in Delaware to go. The staff is really great too. Everyone is friendly, professional, and always smiling. And they know me by name and say hello to me by name when I walk in the door.
Cacciatori's is single-handedly the best pizza spot in the Newark area. There are few places that come close.
Best pizza I've had in DE so far!
Good pizza place in The Shops at Louviers. You can't go wrong with their slices or a whole pie.
Some of the best pizza and Italian food in the area.

A Slice of Perfection at Cacciatori Pizza & Pasta – A 5-Star NYC-Style Experience in Newark, Delaware
If you’re on the hunt for the perfect NYC-style pizza experience in Newark, Delaware, look no further than Cacciatori Pizza & Pasta. From the moment I stepped inside, I was impressed by the cleanliness and attention to detail—always a great first sign. But what truly set this place apart was the cool, understated customer service. Everyone made eye contact, acknowledged my presence, and created a welcoming atmosphere without being overbearing.
The standout moment? The guy (Joe) who took my order. Patient, kind, and genuinely helpful—exactly what you want when you’re navigating a menu (which, let’s be honest, I sometimes struggle with). He made the ordering process effortless, which is rare and deserves its own round of applause.
But here’s where it gets even better: while waiting for my togo order, I had a side fry while I waited amongst 2 slices of pizza and a salad. I noticed something special. The cooks came out, sat in the diner, and ate. And in that moment, Cacciatori Pizza & Pasta transformed from just another pizza joint into something truly authentic and homey. Watching the very people who crafted these dishes sit down to enjoy them gave the restaurant a unique, almost family-style feel. It wasn’t just about serving food—it was about loving the food they create. That kind of confidence in the quality of their own dishes speaks volumes.
Now, let’s talk about the pizza. Flawless. The crust had that perfect NYC balance—crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside. The sauce? Rich, tangy, and layered with flavor. The cheese? Melted to perfection. Every bite was a reminder of why NYC-style pizza is in a league of its own.
This is the kind of restaurant that gets it right. It’s more than just great pizza—it’s a vibe, an experience, and a slice of something real. Whether you’re a Newark local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and grab a slice (or a whole pie) at Cacciatori Pizza & Pasta.
⭐ 5 STARS ⭐ without hesitation.

Nice small pizza shop, good slices for a quick lunch. Old Country is one of my favorite slices. Nice thin-ish crust that had a nice crisp/crunch and didn't flop around like a wet cloth.
Excellent pizza, guys were friendly
